The undead giant bosses were enough to put me off chalice dungeons.
Mess up one dodge and its game over seeing as they seem to one shot me 100% of the time. I have an easier time fighting the boss at the end of the dlc.
The Undead Giant with the wrecking balls or whatever attached to it can fuck off. I faced that variant in a Defiled dungeon and every single fucking attack one-shotted me. With the balls jangling around everywhere it sucked shit, but eventually I won.
I just desperately hope that the third game doesn't have the really bad hit boxes and enemy tracking that DS2 has for no reason
Seriously though the hit boxes are super weird and I can't even call them lazy, stuff like Velstadts balls having the same properties as the sweet spot on his mace, or like the aura of hurt around beast enemies when they attack completely different locations

Just ordered the Bloodborne art collection.
Hyped, poring through this will waste a day or two.

Where?
I really want that statue of the Lord of Cinder, shame its like 350 bucks.
I really like that in the picture Pyromancy now looks like a horrible baseball pitch instead of a flimsy "Eh!" Throw

Dark Souls 2 had a perfectly fine port tho, whats the problem
Dark Souls 2 had a perfectly fine port tho, whats the problem
I'm just being a little weary considering they haven't announced how the PC version will run yet. Maybe a little too much considering the reason for BB running the way it did was maybe more likely the PS4 and not the game itself.

The durability for 60fps was a huge issue but hopefully it'll be fixed this time around

The fact that they released the PC version like a month after the consoles was a huge negative for me. Like, what was even the point.
I can't recall anything that oneshotted you unless you were absolutely naked in DS1, except for maybe second pass of Hellkite Drake but Hellkite Drake was a mistake anyways. This is part of why I have a problem with twinks since the game's laxity comes at a cost when someone runs at you with a maxed out Chaos Zwei in the Burg and oneshots you.
If you have a huge problem with people twinking, just don't reverse hollowing until you're ready to deal with it.

But on the other side, if they released on PC a month later and still turned out to be dogshit, that would have been worse.

Sure, but just because it COULD have been worse doesn't excuse the fact that they delayed it for shits and giggles.
Do dark souls 2 saves save locally on steam? I want to play again but I can't remember backing up my save

DS1 does, DS2 doesn't. You have to keep your own backups sadly.

Cheers, I'm just going to start a new game instead but saying that, do Dark souls 2 saves even work with scholar of the first sin?
I wonder if he meant to say darkwraithing but is so used to saying dickwraithing and just didn't notice
would be so awesome if something like the gravelord sword appears in DS3
I'll be honest, I planned to use the Broken Red Eye Orb several times just to be summoned as a Mirror Squire by the Looking Glass Knight, but the Shrine of Amana required my undivided attention

If there is we'd get it from [sp]Aldrich[/sp]. What do you guys think he is anyway?[sp]Some kind of miasma worm? Or a humanoid? They hide his form pretty well in the trailer[/sp]

You can use red soapstone in that hallway if you want to be summoned as a squire without wasting cracked orbs.

Thanks to you, I have a new hobby
I wanna see more stuff like the Squire Knight invasions and Chasm of the Abyss free-for-all.
Hopefully a Forest-Esk playground with more space than a paddling pool.
...and Chasm of the Abyss free-for-all.
elaborate pls
elaborate pls
In the Chasm of the Abyss, everyone is a grey phantom. Host, invaders, everyone. So everyone can chug and everyone can damage everybody, including, if I remember right, the NPCs in the area.
