Did you really have to reply "yes" 12 minutes after three people already confirmed it
how could we not!
Daggers just felt like a waste of space and time in DS1. I hope daggers are actually viable for PvP and PvE in DS3. Also claws, either buff them the fuck up as great in-your-face-interface damage or get rid of them. Has there been any news if DS3 will be more mod friendly? Such as tweaking mob stats/models, item stats and so forth?
Si :v:
QUE???? NO HABLA ESPANOL On a more serious note, I really need some help with that damn Altar of Sunlight. I need to get at least 3 more boss kills as a white phantom to get the last miracles I need for my achievement. They're a good weapon to have on your 2nd hand slot if you're going after parries / backstabs Also claws in DS2 are god damn annoying

Thing is, it's the character I use to PvP in Oolacile and who has all other miracles Still, it shouldn't be difficult to find players around level 105 to summon me (I got a summon today at Biggie&smalls)
Something I'm hoping that DS3 to do is a better way to re-fight bosses solo without having to beat the game and fight them in NG+. I love fighting Artorias and Manus, but don't like having to go through the game again just so I can re-fight them. Sinh is my favorite Souls boss after Artorias, and I just loved how a was able to just fight him over and over again easily. I just wish I could do the same with Artorias. :saddowns:
Thanks to the magic of co-op, I was able to beat both the Smelter Demon and the Fume Knight The latter would be a passable Artoriash-ish interesting fight if it wasn't for the fucking warm idols around the arena (I ran out of the tool to break them by the time I got there)

Somehow this looks okay? [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/sLX0wIN.jpg[/img_thumb]
Fuck's sake Ancient Dragon can eat my ass. Literally every single death has been because my character won't run despite having full stamina, and I need that fucking soul
Somehow this looks okay? [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/sLX0wIN.jpg[/img_thumb]
alva items go with everything
[sp]Aldia[/sp] is a right cunt if you've got no [sp]fire defence[/sp]. I get that [sp]Forbidden Sun[/sp] is meant to be a super badass [sp]pyromancy[/sp], but it can one-hit me consistently. Thankfully [sp]Aldia[/sp] decided to charge that up when he had no health left, just asking for a slap. It's a shame the fight against [sp]Nashandra[/sp] is pretty straightforward. [editline]14th February 2016[/editline] Boy this post looks like a top-secret CIA doc right now...
You didn't explore enough
In my defense, it's hard to explore an area in detail if you are struggling just to survive
Somehow this looks okay? [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/sLX0wIN.jpg[/img_thumb]
It's not by any means exact, but it sort of looks like you were trying to mimic Ostrava of Boletaria with the set and weapons.
What chest piece is that?
Uncharred Loyce
huh, never seen it before
Never looked in her direction while picking up the ring until this playthrough. Dark Souls 2 spoilers, kiddies.
Seriously though why the fuck does the game randomly decide I can't run? This is a problem I've had with every version of DS2 and I guess this is the only time I've had a problem where it's making a bossfight unwinnable
I just had an extremely intense PvP fight in DS1... for all the wrong reasons me and this guy just kept healing and backstabbing each other at the same time (when it happens, the last guy to get stabbed drops to the ground, but neither party takes damage), the fight lasted for a good while before I said fuck it and screwed up, getting hornet stabbed one too many times So much potential... here's hoping DS3 will deliver

[editline]14th February 2016[/editline] Boy this post looks like a top-secret CIA doc right now...
They've actually got a pretty straightforward pattern. I did that fight with very, VERY little fire defense. There's a period before the flames crop up around them that they are vulnerable. The fight just takes some time and patients, but I was able to do it pretty much no problem. Stock up on life gems, just in case they clip you.
REDACTED
Is [sp]Forbidden Sun[/sp] the [sp]huge homing fireball[/sp] thing? Whenever it hit me it was either a 1shot kill or something very close to it. Best tactic was to let Aldia charge up, prepare some space for maneuvering and as soon as it went off just evade it with rolls or even side steps

The charge up is super useful as I can get two heavy hits from my large club in, which does something like 1/8th of his HP. But then I have to watch it because I need the roll i-frames. My roll timing on it was a bit sloppy, I always managed to get clipped by it as I rolled a fraction of a second too early or something. It only took me around 5 attempts in the end. But it was a fairly punishing 5 for me. Weirdly.

Also I quickly learned not to get too greedy even more so than in Dark Souls 1. With stunlocks being even more dangerous you just can't risk it, period
I know a lot of people were saying how weird it was to go back to Dark Souls after playing DS2, but ds1 still feels really "natural" to me. However, what bugs me is the controller. After using the PS4 controller so much, the PS3 controller feels so weird and "old".

Once you get used to it, even if you drop the game, muscle memory will kick in when you come back

DS1 is just considerably more clunky in movement in just about every way, especially when it comes to rolling. What really gets me is that delay between pressing the roll key and your character rolling, it isn't a big delay but it's there. Quite a difference from BB's instantaneous grand leap.

If you completely run out of stamina, you cannot attack/run again until it refills (iirc). You can bypass this by rolling after the stamina begins to recharge I don't think this existed in DS1 or BB. Really pissed me off
