would a 0 soul memory run challenge in ds2 be possible? i was getting killed by the pursuer(wen u first meet him), i died and my phantom killed him at the perfect time causing me to get 0 souls from him in the giant's Forrest. at the end of the level wen ur supposed to fight him again, the fog wall is there but no pursuer. i wonder if you can coop with a friend on every boss so that you beat the game w/ 0 soul memory that would be something id like to see (i cant imagine a harder challenge cause u and ur friend have to remain around the same sm throughout the game with wimpy weaps)

no but you could have a 6000sm run or however much it takes for you to get the agape ring

You don't leave the first SM rank until you pass 10k. 30k is rank 3 so you can still invade / help people in rank 1 with some weapon upgrades.

After about 2 years of on off playing I actually got invaded in demon's souls today. Nearly beat the guy till he one shot me with magic.

If you listen to Sir Alonne's theme and Lady Maria's theme it's very clear it's the same composer. She does the same multiple choir & crescendo thing on both. She's really good, no idea why they haven't booked her more for the games. Very clear she's talented and her songs fit in very well with the knight bossfights which are 50% of the games bossfights now, so...

Can anyone post that screenshot of someone placing the Old Iron King model outside of Iron Keep to show how he's actually almost pure black?

Ok I know this would kind of be a downgrade, but I seriously hope they remove the AOE healing with the Heal/Great Heal miracles like in DS2. It basically made Bountiful/Soothing Sunlight almost pointless. That's probably the biggest reason why I didn't like them in DS2. They were difficult to get, weren't visually impressive, and they became a glorified Heal miracle.

I'd love to preorder Dark Souls III on Steam if I didn't become increasingly suspicious of PC ports as the time passed

I enjoyed 60 hours of Dark Souls' original PC port before finding Dark Souls Fix. I think I'll live if the port of III is less than stellar. But I don't see a reason to pre-order, even with the GENEROUS 8% discount.

The Squalid Queen can suck a dick. She wouldn't stop summoning the entire fucking fight. At least the boss straight after her is dope as fuck to make up for that pain.

I didn't even end up playing the SOTFS DLC because I just got bored of the game. Normal edition here I come.

I'd wait until GMG or some other retailer does a pre-release sale. GMG usually does a 20-25% off pre-release on big games.

The discount only applies to the base game, regardless if you're just buying the game by itself or the deluxe edition bundle. So either way you're only saving 5 bucks. And I don't know where people have been getting this "discount stacks if you own multiple games" thing 'cuz it doesn't. I own DS1, DS2, and SotFS and my discount still came out to 5 bucks.

yeah you only get a one-game discount it just applies to all games, so if you own only one of them, you get that discount.

After the hell that was Iron Keep, the very easy battle against the Old Iron Kind was almost insulting Come to think of it, save for one or two exceptions, Dark Souls II have incredibly hard levels and kinda easy bosses
