It's an extremely personal experience and knowing the names of the bosses or where that illusory wall is at isn't really going to change the way I personally experience the environment, music, lore, etc. Sure knowing kinda takes away the surprise factor, but that's about it. The game is open ended to the point where it shouldn't really matter.

The only things I can renember from DS2 are Executioner's Chariot, Velstadt, Ornstein, Pursuer, Fume, Alonne & Ivory, and that's counting 3 DLC bosses. On the other hand I could write you a full essay about each boss in DS1 and what they represent. Except for the 3 demons, those are kinda silly.[/sp]

Seath's wasn't really reused except for the initial encounter

Vicar Amelia's theme sounded like a remix of the Cleric Beast, when I was fighting her.
