Also, the Solaire class starts with his famous miracle, ?Spell Name?.
The ultimate Solaire experience.
I like the idea of a Black Knight who literally cannot wield his shit just rolling at people hoping his large ass will give them hurts.

Oh wow, can you imagine if they actually turned fat rolls into attacks? They'd do damage based on your weight units and it would probably break poise all the time in PvP :v:
[editline]edit[/editline]
Of course, they would need to balance it by adding in a new weight class where you're so heavy that if you tried to roll, you'd just fall face down on the ground and you just couldn't get up until you died or Darksigned

they did with the thorn set i think
they did with the thorn set i think
But it has to be based around being fat :saddowns:
Just gonna be invaded by a bunch of dudes trying to be the heavyweight champion of all eternity: Iron Tarkus. But with less flailing swordplay and more slowly flopping in your direction.
PvP fight clubs would be entertaining. Imagine the poise damage a fatass set could do.
I was reading a thread elsewhere earlier today, and someone mentioned that yearly From games is a little worrying to them. I kinda feel like this misses the fact that Bloodborne and Dark Souls III are made by two different teams, and that the gap between Dark Souls III is the same as Dark Souls and Dark Souls II, and only one year shorter than Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.
[editline]5th February 2016[/editline]
Actually, From has been putting out games yearly since 2003.
considering it looks like d3 is going to be the last of the souls games, i dont think that that is going to become an issue

Miyazaki said that Dark Souls III wasn't an end, but a turning point, in one of his recent interviews, though. I took that to mean there would be more Souls games.
as long as miyazaki keeps doing what he does best, souls games are always going to be several cuts above the average AAA game
after the fucking masterpiece that is bloodborne my faith in from+miyazki has been restored tenfold

Or maybe more Bloodborne-like spin-offs. I remember the last thread someone mentioning a sci-fi version of a Souls game. That could be neat and just as terrifying.
if we got a cyberpunk souls game with the general sort of gameplay as bloodborne i would instantly ejaculate

Miyazaki said he'd be interested in a sci-fi spin.
Now what kind of cyber souls setting would you all prefer? A dystopian city, like Blade Runner, or would it take place within a computer like the Tron series? Both could be really fucking cool.
Considering the way the Souls series creates cities, I would love to have one in the same strain as Blade Runner but it would be pretty cool to have a fresh concept.
I could honestly see them doing both, all the Souls games have very diverse levels (at least in art style, dark souls 2 had a fair amount of similar layouts)
They could make it a twist where you think you're in a real city, but there are things that start to reveal that it's all a computer simulation. You could even do pretty nifty stuff with level design that way too. It'd be ripping off the matrix pretty hard though.
Imagine a sterile, white corridor where all doors are locked. Once you unlock them all, enemies start emerging from them and once you have dealt with them, the corridor is just stained with blood/fluid everywhere.
I could see it being dark but then have those unsettling clean places that contrast with the nature-invaded world outside.
Seing how Dark Souls took inspiration on dark medieval fantasy and Bloodborne on Lovecraftian mixed with Renaissance, I really want to see what Miyazaki would take inspiration for a sci-fi spin-off.
And think of the cybernetic horrors we could get as bosses.
Don't forget that parts of Dark Souls and Bloodborne were inspired by Berserk.
The early leaks of DS3 really showed the Berserk influences with the whole bleeding sun thing.
I think they should do sci-fi like Scrapped Princess where things seem like a generic fantasy world at first but then really weird structures and ancient high-tech machines and extremely advanced AI with god-like powers show up
I want a robo-Artorias.
His bad arm would be shooting out sparks and such. In his last phase he rips off that arm and beats the shit out of you with it.
Just picture.
Laser Ultra Greatsword.
I'd want a rocket powered hammer like in Monster Hunter 4.

Or maybe a chainsaw axe (one with a rounder head) with a similar moveset to the pizza cutter in Bloodborne?
Tbh i think i'd love a Shadowrun inspired Souls game.

i want a modern berserk game on pc
i've been watching the anime, so yeah. definitely gonna be playing the shit out of ds3.
And now that the greatsword comes with a "Guts stance" there's no way that anyone should use anything but that sword.

well this is a fromsoft game so you can bet your ass that strength weapons will be overshadowed in effectiveness and viability by dexterity weapons
again.
Dex weapons sucked in DS2 unless you're doing pvp. For just pve str weapons are top tier in DS1 & 2. The greatswords, excluding zwei, may not have been the best str weapons, but they were still serviceable and fun.
well obviously you can win pve with almost anything
For maximum effectiveness str wins over dex in nearly all the games (idk about DeS haven't done enough playtrhoughs). You can drop bosses much more quickly. From do hate str for pvp though. I'm still sour that they got rid of the golfing mechanic for the zwei.
