Is powerstancing even confirmed for DS3? I thought dual-wielding was delegated to a few weapon arts.
Is powerstancing even confirmed for DS3? I thought dual-wielding was delegated to a few weapon arts.
There's always a chance we can still powerstance. I mean, to activate weapon arts it's two handing a weapon, then hitting L2 or your controller equivalent, so maybe holding two weapons, having the right stats, and holding the two-hand button will still powerstance. We can dream.
Is powerstancing even confirmed for DS3? I thought dual-wielding was delegated to a few weapon arts.
Yeah power stancing is definitely back in the form of battle arts based on that polygon article I posted a few pages back
i swear if i can't dual weild muras and do that fancy murder on the dance floor spin attack that gave in DS2 i'm going to be SUPER FUCKING slightly miffed because i didn't bother using it that much anyways
Is powerstancing even confirmed for DS3? I thought dual-wielding was delegated to a few weapon arts.
lobos power stances the caestus in the video that i posted. [editline]1st March 2016[/editline] On the previous page.

Is it true that some med shields/kite shields in DS3 can still parry? I hate parrying with only small shields, it kills the challenge for me.
Is it true that some med shields/kite shields in DS3 can still parry? Can you still guard break tower shields? If not, tower shields still useless. Like what's the point of tower shields? (aside cheesing some bosses)
Can you still guard break tower shields? If not, tower shields still useless. Like what's the point of tower shields? (aside cheesing some bosses)
Pretty much exactly that. Cheesing bosses and nothing else, really. It's for babby's first Dark Souls 3 playthrough.
Wish there wasn't so much that wasn't just a fucking gimmick. Tower shields & the tied heavy knights are always so ridiculously bad to play, it's insulting to the fact that about 40% of the game consists of heavy knights. If greatshields got that bash some NPCs have, where it does a wide & fast sweep they might be viable.

It's up to everyone to mix and match, come up with a good build for them and play the game the way they see fit. Who gives a rat's ass about the meta? Dark Souls has always been fun because of the challenge in making nonviable builds work. Like the dual shield smashing challenge build in Dark souls 2. Or the bare fist Victor's Signet runs. Or, if you're especially hardcore, the powerstanced wooden ladle runs.
I've been watching Oroboro's gameplay footage and I'm happy to say that there's a feature returning from Bloodborne. Some enemies actually speak coherently. For those curious, here's the link. No lore spoilers, just shows a new enemy. https://youtu.be/Ub99xX3J1GI?t=2329
Can you still guard break tower shields? If not, tower shields still useless. Like what's the point of tower shields? (aside cheesing some bosses)
I like how using a big shield to protect yourself is considered "cheesing".
A nice video to watch. It is spoilery of the first 30 minutes of the game so don't watch if you don'tw ant that. [sp] Knight class can fastroll from the very start and deals pretty good damage. This is gonna be great. Crystal Lizards also got replaced by those fucking crystal demons apparently, so that's gonna be nice. [/sp]
[sp]That Firekeeper's VA is undeniably Ciaran's/ Shalquoir's VA, I can hear it so well. And I'm not quite sure about the Crestfallen Warrior 3.0/ Legion fugitive, but his VA sounds like Rickert's/ Navlaan's VA. It's harder to tell on this guy, but I'm almost certain it's the same actor.[/sp] Leave it to Miyazaki to continue re-using his trusty voice actors. :v:
Does the dragon boss from the Sunken King DLC consume your weapons' durability at an allarming rate, as a very entertaining gimmick no doubt, or am I using subpar weapons?
Does the dragon boss from the Sunken King DLC consume your weapons' durability at an allarming rate, as a very entertaining gimmick no doubt, or am I using subpar weapons?
His torso, legs, and tail do 1.5x durability damage, his head and neck are normal. It's usually best to have Repair Powder on you (Chancellor Wellager sells an infinite amount.)
I have a question about coop in bloodborne. If I ring beckoning bell while in hunters dream, and my friend joins me in my world, can i take them with me to any location i have unlocked? that includes chalice dungeons. thank you. edit: they are a lower level than me with not much unlocked in their own game

Alright, I managed to get the three crowns Now I only need to clear the Frigid Outskirts, but I have no idea about how to reach them [editline]Today[/editline] Also, what's the best weapons setup in Dark Souls II between Dark Varangian Sword & Heide Knight Sword and Melu Scimitar & Warped Sword (I also don't know if I should infuse them, one with darkness and the other with lightning) Consider I have 40 dexterity and 26 strenght
Well, I just finished Bloodborne. The ending left me feeling like there was something missing, which for the game that it is, is perfect. Ebrietas and the Last Boss were the only ones that gave me trouble, which was fine. All-in-all it's probably my favorite game in the Soulsborne series.
Which ending did you do?
[sp]The squid one.[/sp]
[sp]The squid one.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah I kinda felt there should've been some scene before it, we just get an abrupt transition to the squid.[/sp]
I subscribe to the theory that the doll [sp]is a great one.[/sp]
I subscribe to the theory that the doll [sp]is a great one.[/sp]
[sp]Hit her and she bleeds pale blood[/sp]
[sp]Hit her and she bleeds pale blood[/sp]
[sp]Also, with the whole "surrogate Great One" thing, and he caring for you like a mother at the end. As well as the fact that she cannot be killed. [/sp]

There's a difference between purposefully handicapping yourself, finding joke weapons and then finding stuff that is absolutely useless for no real reason whatsoever. Sure, you can make it work, that's the nature of the game, but it doesn't make the experience of finding out that neat weapon is awful any less bad.
Can someone, without spoilers, tell me if Dark Souls 3s map design is akin to BB and Dark Souls 1?
