BB still has problems with frame drops.
Oh, I know. They just aren't as bad as they were on release. (For me at least). v:v:v
Is the stuttering still in Bloodborne?
I don't know about anyone else, but I usually got drops when entering fog doors and on certain bosses like BSB and TOR. But now after going through the game a few more times recently, they seem a lot more stable then they originally were.
I got a good amount of drops when fighting the TOR as well. There was also one specific spot in Hemwick where I could constantly recreate a massive amount of stuttering/frame pacing issues. I haven't touched the game since the DLC came out.
Have they done any updates since then?
Don't worry guys, eventually Sony will allow FROM to port Bloodborne to PC and it will work at 60fps
Of course, it will be released along the remastered edition of Demon Souls which also will come to PC
But first FROM will make a definitive edition of Dark Souls which will have 60fps, better netcode, restored content and mod support
And everything will be nice and perfect in the universe...
Only problems I had with BB were the long load times and frame rate drops when I enter Old Yharnam, when a snatcher powers up, and when I was looking at Paarl at the wrong time
Restored content for Dark Souls would wreck it, honestly.

The last boss in bloodborne was brutal, if you looked at the left side of the boss room it felt like it dipped to 10 fps, did it a few months ago so dont know if they have updated since then.
i played through the first like 80% of the game with it unpatched though, so i could dupe bloodvials so i didnt have to go grind. ( so glad estus is coming back)
speaking of estus did anybody else see Gods of Egypt? nicolaj literally has an estus flask.
Playing DS1 right after playing through multiple playthroughs of DS2 and BB feels weird just because you can only dodge in 4 directions while locked on. It's actually got me killed a few times because it's instinctive for me to dodge diagonal towards the enemy. :v:
you could do that if you didn't lock on
you could do that if you didn't lock on
Yeah, I eventually started to do that and have been doing fine since.

And so, on such a high note, my Dark Souls II experience ends for good
The only problem with framerate I've ever had with Bloodborne was when I am summoned to help with Laurence.
Even fighting him solo I never experienced framerate dips.
Xbox One and PS4 are confirmed to be 30fps. Both version perform similarly to Bloodborne.
They aren't commenting on the PC version.
The fact they're refusing to comment on the PC version says it all. It'll have shitty frames and probably graphics completely subpar to what *can* be achieved. When Dark Souls 2 was announced, they were very quick to talk about how it'd be 60FPS on PC. The silence with regards to Dark Souls 3 is as good as a 30FPS on PC confirmation.
Honestly, why I'd die to preorder Dark Souls III on Steam, I've grown EXTREMELY suspicious of PC ports over the last months and I'll wait to purchase till I'll recive more solid info

As long as they at least have the SOTFS team around to work on the port, it should atleast be on par with that.
i'd hope

The only reason they could possibly have for not revealing the PC framerate early is the fear that the truth would hurt preorders.

Let me be optimistic. :(
jokes on you the reality is that ds3 will actually come out with 600fps which let alone our computers be unable to handle at current gen technology which will send the community into a frenzy of purchasing more and more gpu upgrades and pressuring developers to advance GPUs further and further we will eventually run out of resources on the planet to develop these resources and plummet the world into total chaos
in the basement of one home, a man has finally, with all the technological advancements, managed to create a GPU out of all his salvaged parts capable of handling DS3, but as the mind is unable to process that many frames per second, it till looks like it's stuttering so he leaves a nasty review about it on IGN because he's really the last remaining IGN reiviewer and gives it a 5.7 score
[editline]3rd March 2016[/editline]
it's simple, really
try 30 frames, but hole

Are people really so petty that they'll cancel a preorder over 30 vs 60 fps? 60 fps is really nice, it makes the game feel a ton smoother and enhances the experience. But 30 is far from unplayable and it's a tremendous insult to all the people that put thousands of hours into creating the art and gameplay when the deciding factor of a purchase is something as inane as the game playing at 30fps.
I only hope Dat Ass of the Frigid Valley will still be in the game. Dark Souls has always given me a hype boner, but never quite like this.

Actually, it kind of is a big deal to me. Whether you like to believe it 60 FPS is objectively better for almost every form of game. It's especially useful in games like the Soul's series because it allows for more precise input and reaction.
Adding on to this, artificially limiting the framerate for the PC game because you tied your framerate to gamelogic (DS1) is an example of poor programming. Artificially limiting it to keep it on par with consoles is just spitting in the face of everyone that owns a PC capable of running it at a higher framerate.

Actually, if I wasn't such a huge fan of the series, I'd refuse to buy Dark Souls 3 based on it being 30FPS alone. Releasing a shitty PC port in 2016 that doesn't give high end users the option to enjoy a framerate that is industry standard for PC action games, and charging full price for it is anti-consumer, plain and simple. It's inexcusable. Scholar of the First Sin was a shitty move, too. Are you implying that bullshit of that caliber should be rewarded? Failing to meet standards means you're selling a substandard product. That's the simple truth.
It'd be forgivable if they were an indie developer, but they aren't. So if the PC port is locked to 30FPS, they're going to be slammed by a lot of prominent reviewers, and they'll deserve it.

Assassin's Creed loading screen level.

Almost. Except for the spiked lightning unicorns that charge out of the fog and murderize you.
If I were you, I would completely take PC modding out of the equation.
DS2 mods triggered softbans much too easily

If they lock the game to 30fps on PC, and then softban players for using mods that fix their half-assed, sorry excuse for a PC port, there's going to be hell to pay.
I'm half tempted to hold off buying DS3 because of the inevitable *** Edition a year later.
