This is literally the only reason I won't preorder. Not saying we'll get a DS-tier PC port, but vanilla souls 2 was not in an exceptional state - and using ds2fix has a good chance of netting you a softban
DS3 is a very gameplay oriented game and everything they've done thus far is making the game faster and faster. 60fps will be pretty much key if we're talking primary gameplay titles, specially if they're fast paced.

Man, having bought the season pass for original DS2, I was totally ass-blasted when Scholar of the First Sin got revealed. I don't think I was ever as upset at a game as back then, since I was so fond of From at the time.
DS3 will be amazing for certain, but thanks to that bullshit I just can't help but worry.
Scholar of the First Sin was really just an excuse to re-release it on next-gen. I wouldn't worry about something like that happening for DS3.
I don't really like the general lack of sense of progression in Demon's Souls
In Dark Souls and Bloodborne I always feel like I'm slowly crawling my way through the levels, opening shortcuts and activating checkpoints: if I die, I know at the very least that I've cleared a segment or two and can start over from there
In Demon's Souls, even if shortcuts are fairly common, every time I die I always feel I'm back to square one of the current area and must do everything again

Why wouldn't she? She's only hard because players were more focused on monster lady posterior than the moveset.
Also, is the distinction between her and [sp]Cairan[/sp] on purpose like a callback ie Old Dragonslayer or is there lore implementations on the similarities?

I don't think the similarities are even much of a callback. [sp]Other than being a female with flowing bits(being really generous, Ciaran has robes and the Dancer has some sort of hair/veil thing while being clad in armor) and two swords, there isn't much in the way of similarities. The mask looks different and the swords match, whereas the gold and silver tracer look unique. I like both designs but I don't think there was really meant to be a link between the two, but this is also more a month prior to release so the lore could end up linking them just because.[/sp]

I'd go to give you guys some first impressions but the trip into london for what is probably only like 30 minutes of gameplay doesnt seem worth the money to be quite honest :v:

Turns out this expo is actually this weekend and not at the end of the month so yeah PC footage is basically confirmed for after this weekend.

I reckon it'll be 60. Keep in mind that DS1 wasn't originally going to be on PC at all except PC people called out for it so bad.
DS2 was 60 out of the box so I don't know why DS3 wouldn't be.

I had no idea Siegmeyer could jump down and fight the chaos eaters in Lost Izalith.
