Plus the knight phase is boring, and you're given no hint that you should backtrack and find the knights before you fight the boss.
Unless you skipped dialogue and probably ignored a big white text on your screen telling there are knights scattered.
None of them are sitting in chairs, I just assumed that the chairs belonged to the knights in the old chaos. And that the knight next to the pit was the last of them not corrupted by the chaos
This was actually the first time I had to look up a guide to find out what to do in a souls game (for something that isn't supposed to be hidden), so I consider this to be a bit more cryptic than usual.
Even if you just explored normally you would find them with relative ease. :v:
Thank fucking god for that official 60fps confirmation.
Absolutely insane! Preordered! Deluxe Preordered!

What the fuck, is this a bug?

Is it actually cheaper to buy the normal edition and then buy the Season Pass afterwards?

It's intended. From Soft wanted to emulate the Souls gameplay by making the purchasing process a trap. Hasty consumers who want the full package will just get the bundle and pay more for it than an observant buyer.
Congratulations! You're an observant buyer!
The Fashion Souls was crazy in DS2 and I loved it. With a little creativity, you could play as anyone.
Here's some of my better ideas:
I started a communist playthrough once. Red themed armor only, and only used the hammer and half-moon sickle dual wielded. I also made it a rule where I would only level up if I had enough souls to level all my stats at once (except for getting the stats for weapon requirements, which was the only exception)

It was cheaper once i believe, but the difference was negligible. It was only 9 rubles cheaper for me which is only 0.13$ when converted to $.
Also, blame bamco.

Now updated with named nodes! Link is in the description, the mod is an .exe file
Altough we used this, and it did work at times, name nodes sounds like a nice addition!
Thanks.
Oh god DS3 is farther away than I want it to be. I need it
1 month
Co-op in DS1 is so much fun! never actually played with a friend in it.
altough i wish the connectivity was better, it can take years to find eachother
The connectivity mod is your best friend. Be sure to pick a channel that isn't 7
Me and a friend managed to co-op perfectly. We connected within SECONDS and would see the other's summon sign fucking instantly
It was nuts
The hardest boss of the series is waiting for DSIII
I'm surprisingly not very hyped, probably because I haven't watched any of the trailers. I've still preordered it though, because I'm a stupid fan and will play it even if its horrible.
Nice job going dark, just to let you know it's not going to be horrible. It might even be the best game in the series so far
It'll be probably better since it was being worked for a long time without problems too.
I've watched the trailers and that's it, I'm ready ohmygod
I want more friendly NPC co-op encounters, or just more NPC interactions in general besides talking.
The Loyce Knights part at the end of IK was really good, this big 3v3 type of thing with all this shit going on was really nice and unique. The memories also featuring giant vs. guy & turtle combat were also neat, even if you couldn't really help the guys out since they were aggressive.
It's like a breath of fresh air being able to get excited over Dark Souls 3 without the shadow of possible 30FPS lock on PC hanging over our heads.
Since I don't have the means to get the game and still very much want to, I'll have to find someone I can come to an agreement with (Like paying them back when I have the money to do so, or something.)
what's the best place to get arcane gems without using the chalice dungeons?
what's the best place to get arcane gems without using the chalice dungeons?
If you mean arcane damage, then as far as I know, the only reliable sources are the celestial mobs in the forbidden woods.

okay, i'm guessing those arent going to be higher level cursed gems.. or is it?

The only places you can get cursed gems are chalice dungeons, with the exception of winter lanterns, so no, they're not high level nor cursed. They're also only triangles.

:v:
Finally my DSII character is staring to kick a little more ass. It felt like I was getting nowhere and doing nothing but grinding but I finally managed to discover some new areas after finding some Fragrant Branches of Yore, killed a couple of bosses along the way and I finally managed to banish Armorer Dennis. Feeling good right about now
I met the absolute worst invader a little while back.
So I made a new character and chose deprived, got to Heide's Tower and did the speedrun thing. I then proceeded to Forest of the fallen giants where I got invaded by some guy who is higher level than me, my only weapon was broken thief sword which I could barely wield. It took a while to kill him as the sword is bad. And the guy was quite terrible. I mean I suck at pvp, it wouldn't surprise me if I got killed by someone using only a chime.

I really hope we'll be able to use this shield

It's the adjudicator's shield but 90% cooler because they slapped a dragon on it.
This appeals to my two loves; Dragons and Demon's Souls.
Starting my first real Bloodborne playthrough. I played it a bit back when I didn't have internet a couple months back but only got to the first boss. Figured I would just restart since I don't really remember what I was doing and it was only an hour into the game anyway. Any tips I should know? And how long will the game last if I go through at a steady pace?

Papa G is where the game really starts, before that you're facing enemies which are very slow and weak compared to what comes later. He's pretty comparable to many of the bosses, but he's a bit slower.
My first playthrough of Bloodborne took me about 45 hours, but I missed a fair amount. Compare that to Dark Souls which took me just over 80 my first time.
