The generic Shepard Skin I think you're right, its just a recolourable skin similar to the armor, though, thats just from an initial look for myself, JeanLuc might know more
I'd download these, but I'm sadly restricted to the 360.
Oh well. These are top notch, by the way.
[QUOTE=doommarine23;30160625]:allears: if only you did the generic Shepard skin (for custom faces)
That one *did* have its own texture, right? I haven't poked around that much with ME's textures[/QUOTE] I believe there are three different "generic skins" for each gender, each having a different complexion.
Whats the word? Who's getting an overhaul now?

Finished Zaeed a few days ago (and forgot to update this thread; shame on me). Updated the OP with him.
Current WIP is Jack, and I'm hoping to have her done in the next few days.

badass.
sweeeeeet.
[QUOTE=JeanLuc761;30074396]She should be looking more like this:
See how the hexagon pattern is clearly defined and shows a lot of depth?
Also, for you Garrus fans, here is the revised version of the previously released mod. This gives Garrus a much rougher face (more in tune with his original), and fixes up quite a few areas on his armor.

Yeah, I think I got it to work now. (right?)

And for the next release, we have Jack. Enjoy!

Excellent work, Jean Luc.
Once again looking pretty fine. Keep it up, you're awesome.
excellent man, excellent
For some reason it isn't working. Have it set up like this:

Is that right?
using steam, if memory serves, you need to rename the masseffect2.exe to something different and rename texmod.exe to masseffect2.exe, probably why its not working

So, rename masseffect2.exe to something like ME2.exe and then change texmod to masseffect2.exe and then make the target application the original masseffect2.exe?
I renamed texmod to "masseffect2", moved it to the folder where the mass effect 2 exe is, and renamed masseffect2 to "ME2" and had texmod point to the "ME2" shortcut. Now when I click run it goes to a black screen and it says Mass Effect 2 is not responding in Task Manager. How long does it take to get past the black screen?

It depends entirely on how many textures you're trying to load. Texmod is really a very lousy way of having to load these textures, but there simply is no other alternative (that I've found, at least).
If you're loading all the texmods that I've released...I wouldn't be surprised if the black screen is there anywhere from 5-10 minutes.
It works now, thanks for the help.
Garrus's file is 60 megs. I love it.
[editline]12th June 2011[/editline]
However, when i run texmod i just get a black screen. Even with only 1 mod, and it isnt a performance issue.

Most of my releases take anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple minutes each, so just be patient. I'd give my left nut to have a way to replace textures directly instead of using Texmod, but for now I have to use what I've got.
I'm actually amazed that nothings come out to edit files, an SDK of some sort or whatever, either by bioware or one that supports their format from unreal. Also, from the ME3 demos shown at E3...you may have more to do in 2012
And for our next release.

[editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
also you should probably put that 4GB RAM is like a minimum for these mods, all of them together takes 2.2GB of my 8GB of RAM
[QUOTE=JeanLuc761;30422480]And for our next release.

Dat HD cleavage.
Also, maybe I missed it but the HD N7 armor isn't on this page but it is on the bioware one. But the bioware one is also missing an image of it. I got some if you want em though

If you've got a good shot of the N7 armor, by all means. Didn't realize I was missing it :gonk:

thar
[editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
And yes, dat framerate.
Seriously, Texmod just makes my FPS shit itself from 62 to like 15 at random spots
2 3gigs 580 will fix your framerate.
I'll stick with an 460GTX. I get 62 (Frame cap) without Texmod :v:
Hey guys! I registered here just to ask due to a problem with the steam version and the mod:
[QUOTE=GetBent;30378753]So, rename masseffect2.exe to something like ME2.exe and then change texmod to masseffect2.exe and then make the target application the original masseffect2.exe?

I've done exactly this. I've copyed textmod exe in the gamefolder renamed masseffect2 exe to me2 exe renamed textmod exe to masseffect2 exe, cliked textmod/masseffect2 exe, selected me2 exe, loaded all textures in, clicked run.
Steam starts and launches - suprise - masseffect 2 exe. So i get a second version of the textmod/masseffect2 exe, so where is the problem what am i doing wrong?
Thanks so much for a quick reply!
