Why can't 90% feel like 90% instead of 50%?
Because confirmation bias.
Fuck supaflies.
Man, what the fuck is up with people in this setting, who the fuck wakes up in the morning and thinks "well better booby trap my huge pile of cow shit or them fuckers gon steal it".
I'm probably going to get the game, but the RNG chance to hit system sounds exactly like Enemy Within. In other words, I expect to lose my temper and start cursing very loudly.

It isn't exactly like Enemy Within
[sp]Its way worse[/sp]

Probably some redneck figured out it's better to get rid off shit this way or play a prank on someone.

I better hope they fix it, all the rage man.
I find it bullshit how far mobs can travel, especially the fucking rabbits and their jumping, having few at the same time it's an eternity just watching them run at you.
Got about 5 hours in the game and yea it has some balance issues with the RNG, but I'm really loving it.
Wow this runs really bad for me, which is odd because it ran just fine in the last early access update.
What worked for me was turning shadows off.
With those misses at 86% fucking badgers with 225 hp and 5 armor can go eat a dick (i mean seriously??? fucking six of them???)
haha. fucked em up pretty good with an RPG and a grenade
Well, 10 hours in the Ag center and I can safely say that having a first-aider is a life saver. I ate through so many of those pocket med kits and pain relievers, and ended up coming out with 27 pocket kits and 3 more pain relievers. The rabbits fucked me over so much at first, but I've learned how important initiating combat yourself is (hello, Xcom) with your medium/long range guys spread out and everybody kneeling down for the aim bonus.
[sp]That Dr guy in Ag that fires 5 times a turn was almost a complete squad wipe for me. Thankfully I had two sticks of dynamite saved up for just this occasion.[/sp]
It has been worth the wait.

I was playing my first time with just one character, trying to do it solo, it was sort of doable up to the point where things become more complicated, in ag centre where you go to turn off the valve in east part, I snuck past the rabbits where the cows get killed, on my way back I was sacrificing the doctor to the rabbits while standing away and shooting at them from my rifle, it worked out, then I ran out of ammo and went melee.
I take it from all your happy comments that this is a game definitely worth picking up, then?

It should be DRM-free, so no. Don't you get 2 digital copies anyway?

100% recommended to anyone who likes fallout tactics-style gameplay and RPGs. The RNG and occasional difficulty spikes are nothing compared to the atmosphere and feel of the game.

The reason I'm asking is because a nearby games retailer has it for 30 euros and I have 15 euro voucher for the place so if I can get a digital copy for that price, it'd be really neat.
does mercaptain have better items as the game progresses? dunno if i should spend my requisition or save it, theres nothing that seems that great atm

Save them. I think trader inventories are randomly generated between saves but for me she has a really good shotgun and some good armour right now

Will be buying this on my next paycheck then!
Is my quest bugged or something?
[sp]So I bought rad suits pretty early on and now I'm at the Prison area, so it tell's me to go back to the citadel to talk to a guy in a prison so he can tell me where I can get rad suits.[/sp]
I found my name in the credits. And it's pretty close to the top.
Anyone else getting random frame drops? I start out at 60FPS but 10 minutes in I'll be down to 30. Seems to happen if I open the inventory and move stuff around.

I remember reading something about [sp]two types of radiation suits being in the game and one is obtainable only by a quest, so it might be that.[/sp] Either way i also bought my suits as soon as possible, you're supposed to do it, afaik.
[sp]are the infected locations only available if you visit highpool first?[/sp]

Spot it with perception, use demolitions on it.

Wasteland 1 is completely worth it if you can stomach its primitive graphics; the gameplay itself is neck-deep in terms of depth

Don't forget the paragraph book, though.
