Huhhhhh... I don't know when this changed but the REC store now shows limited ships (SH, etc.) to non-subscribers, too. That's much better, I wasn't happy to see it subs-only.

Super Hornet's been on there for a while. At least, I remember it being added a while ago.
I played a little over the weekend, and I really like where the ship handling has gone. Definitely an improvement. I still think it's annoying as hell to fight anything faster/smaller than a Hornet, but it's definitely an improvement. Hornet vs Hornet is pretty fun. I think the Gladius is now indirectly much better now because the difference in maneuverability is even more pronounced. I've been flying the Gladius mostly because being irritatingly difficult to hit, while still dealing decent damage, is a big asset.
I'd like them to change it even more, but it's something that would have to be tried. Maybe something else needs to be changed like weapon velocities or something with aiming. I still really don't like how tiny and fast the sub-Hornet ships are as I think it starts to get boring and frustrating when you have people missing like 80-90% of their shots in a dogfight that lasts what feels like 5-10 minutes between good pilots.

Too many probably.
Maybe the Herald's reason for being ugly with huge engines is that the big lumpy parts are just solid iron for forward momentum.
We'll have to crash mine into Korro's Aurora and see who's the real king of the (space) hill.

Theoretically with AC2.0 we can just get out of the ship while it's flying. Unmanned Space Torpedo Aurora ho!

If the AC2.0 tests conclude satisfactorly, I'll probably end up naming my Aurora "The Immovable Object"
Really hope they get the paints system to work with ship names, it'd be madness not to.

Huntokar dropped a lot of interesting first hand insight into quantum drive and the system in the multicrew demo.

QD has nothing to do with it, it takes forever to circle a 30km moon at combat speeds but even at this QD speed a moon less than 256km in diameter goes by in a second, so anything in that area doesn't make a good gameplay space

Delete Star Citizen\Public\USER\(username)_inventory.xml and try again, it looks like your helmet's not attached properly and it's partially clipping through your head from being too far forward.

The "get a missile kill" stage of the tutorial is bugged after the missile balance changes in the last couple patches, too, so it's impossible to progress.
I think we're up to 6 tali's and a dozen or so connies.
