yes, currently there's an optional hidden slot for 'armour' which adds multipliers to both damage taken and emissions
the ghost has this 'void armour' which reduces IR and EM missions by 50% and reduces cross section signature by 75%

isnt not changing that variable ever the entire dynamic
I think cross section is the whole targeting thing. In other words, if your cross section signature is lowered by something, you're harder to detect on radar and target.
Cross section is basically good old low tech radar. All it means is that the Ghost's armor absorbs radio waves.
Damn, now I'm tempted to get a Ghost.

There's the free flight on currently at least, so you can give it a try first, also there's the Vanguard concept sale coming up, an escort fighter.

it's probably just very high atm since the mechanics aren't that fleshed out, it's really impossible to notice the differing sigs atm unless you fully lose track of your target, so the massive decrease is required so it's at least obvious the ghost is different

do you know how to select other ships? they wont show up in your hangar unless you clear it, you select them from a dropdown before starting/joining the match

Arccorp in the rain looks awesome. Gonna be great watching the backpedals from people who called Star Citizen a scam even as recent as this year as update after update makes the game more real and the long production chain begins to push out the big stuff.
Do we know anything about mining yet? Will we be landing on barren planets and deforming terrain? Will it be a first or third person ordeal? Will it require multiple people? I haven't really seen a lot about it, other than the ships. If any of you guys know about this I'd love to hear it.

Wow excellent, thanks for that. I don't plan on buying any ships until the game has most of its features implemented anyway, so any sales I'll probably miss till then.
I only hope that the devs can make all of these separate 'modules' work together right in the final game, and seamlessly.
since we can fly all the ships i decided to rip the engine from my 315p and mount it on a super hornet and then replaced the two behring guns with another pair of bulldog repeaters

Wait. Six badgers on the super Hornet? You're running the current stable build and not the PTU, right? Just to be sure.
That's fixed in the PTU build, the canard only takes size 1s max now.
