Played a bit of squadron battles or whatever its called. At one point I had so many missiles aimed at me the icons stretched off the screen. That said, the gladius is a beautiful ship
i don't like how you can distract like 5 hornets worth of missiles with a single flare atm just hopped on pvp for the first time since i got access last year, holy shit what an improvement

Some dude on Reddit: [t]https://i.imgur.com/tiWHnwu.jpg[/t] Well, there goes the biggest ammo box for P2W arguments. Seems you can't earn REC in offline modes; makes sense. FPCorp needs to start organizing co-op VS/PVP friendlies and we can build up our REC and try shit out. We could also create variant meta gamemodes, like Hunt the Ghost -- 4 Aurora MRs vs a fully-loaded Ghost hiding somewhere in the asteroids. Someone else on Reddit: "Fixed my simpod." This is a pre alpha, ofcourse you're gonna have to do fresh downloads of content each major update.
Me and korro are faffing about ingame right now, people should join and stuff
Urgh this is going to take all week to download. I had 1.1 set to download to patch when I went out earlier, but then it told me [t]http://3kv.in/~techbot/ShareX/2015/03/21/Star_Citizen_Launcher_01-02-16.jpg[/t] So now it's been redownloading for the last four hours, with 5 hours left on the download, and I'm going to have to stop it before I go to sleep. I just want to test the Gladius :(
Me and korro are faffing about ingame right now, people should join and stuff
or, we would if the servers werent borked again
Just installed in Windows 10. I'm getting 12 FPS on any setting. :(
I don't know what they did to ESP (Enhanced Stick Precision), but they fucked it. Royally. I use a gamepad, and while it was perfect on 1.0.3, now it seems my lag pip does everything it can to avoid the target rather than making it easier for me to track it. If I'm tracking a target laterally, it's never fast enough to catch it. If I'm trying to center on a target in front of me and that target's turning, my lag pip jumps all over the screen. Am I the only one seeing this problem? Is anyone else having issues with ESP in 1.1?

Alright. Here's what me and elixwhitetail have decided to do. We're gonna start making posts like these every once in a while where people will able to join in on Star Citizen games. We're gonna follow FPARMAs example with this. So, the first game ever we are going to do is tomorrow, Sunday 22th of March at 22:00 GMT. There are eight slots in total available for now. We're gonna play Squadron Battle, Capture the core and so on. Just post if you want to join in and say your exact SC tag so I can invite you. We're gonna be using the usual Facepunch Teamspeak server for this. (Connect with "prfn.se") People that are joining: jonoPorter - jonoPorter Xavith - Xavith elixwhitetail - orison Useful Dave - UsefulDave capgun - capgun Feral - treerat -open- (creec - creec_winceptor (maybe) - Dokbot (if creec doesn't show up)) archangel125 - Arthur-Locke I might add that if someone doesn't make it, you can still slot in I guess if you show up on Teamspeak.

Give me a slot, please. My ingame name is Arthur Locke, handle is Arthur-Locke
What will the price be when the game comes out? Can't really afford to buy a ship atm.
Son of a, I was gone all day till about 10 minutes ago. I would love to try to get into that game, but its full. IGN: Dokbot [editline]21st March 2015[/editline]
What will the price be when the game comes out? Can't really afford to buy a ship atm.
Probably $45-$60
What will the price be when the game comes out? Can't really afford to buy a ship atm.
About $60. You can get in for as cheap as $35 if you don't want to play in the beta, $40-45 to get in and play everything now.
Son of a, I was gone all day till about 10 minutes ago. I would love to try to get into that game, but its full. IGN: Dokbot
Show up anyway, if someone else is a no-show you'll get picked for being there.
Hmmm... Depending on how things go by the start of next month I may be able to get in and play with you guys. How good do you think I'd do for performance? Ram is specced for 1333 / 1600 though, odd. Gonna have to check BIOS settings.
Oh, and this forum post went up from Will Leverett, Game Support Manager at CIG:
Apologies for all of problems today, guys. We're aware that there is massive server instability across the board tonight which is crippling any sort of multiplayer match. We're collecting data, and we'll be hammering away at this as soon as we get the global crews together on Monday. I know everyone's chomping at the bit to get in and start racking up the REC, but I might recommend that singleplayer is the way to go for tonight. I know that's not the answer or immediate fix everyone wants, but I didn't want to leave everyone hanging either.
We just might have to postpone flightpunch, but it'd be awesome if we got these scheduled on a regular basis anyway. I'm still down for showing up, but if the servers are still shitting the bed tomorrow, we'll need to reschedule then. Just be aware that it might not happen, but let's be optimistic and gather at the time anyway.
speccy
I'm not sure just how great that graphics card is going to carry you, but otherwise you should be fine. You'll want to turn the settings down to medium or low to get steady 60fps in Arena Commander, but it'll still look pretty great. Basically, if you have a high-end gaming machine today (i7, 16GB fast RAM, GTX 980 4GB, or equivalent build), you'll be able to run SC at launch at 1080p/60fps, according to Chris Roberts. However, they're making the game for 4K/8K and VR will be supported, and for that you'll need to do an upgrade close to or after SC's actual launch, using future hardware.
So apparently a single vanduul spawns in multiplayer free flight on dying star. No ship, but he'll launch missiles if you get in front. Thanks for the heads-up!
the REC prices seem pretty awesome, you get 1/4th the cost of an aurora (500) just for showing up to an mp mode, and it doesn't seem hard to get 1-2k in a match
For anyone who is thinking about getting this but is unsure because of FPS issues, I run it maxed and get 40+ in the hanger.
AMD FX-8350 Stock clock. 8gb DDR3 ram. Generic AM3+ motherboard. Windows 7 64bit. GTX 970sc. Game is on a harddrive.

the REC prices seem pretty awesome, you get 1/4th the cost of an aurora (500) just for showing up to an mp mode, and it doesn't seem hard to get 1-2k in a match
yea, i got 10k for fucking around in race and BR for an hour and a half streaming the game to my shit computer friend
the rec income is really high right now. it seems likely they will decrease it. Also, once one of your purchases expires, they let you renew it for a tiny fraction of the cost, so as this stands REC might as well not exist at all after a few matches, which i dont mind one bit.
Okay so...I know the hangar requires a retarded amount of RAM for some reason, but now actually flying my ships is unplayable. Pre-1.1 I could fly and fight with no problems but suddenly I'm getting like 5FPS. And this is on medium.
