The Red Dragon have been in quite a bit of the comic and Daegon was referenced by name, but nothing so far about them being involved with the game, but the other factions shown seem to.

I don't know if this counts, but Bo Rai Cho always had mixed opinions within the community.
No idea what Ed Boon thinks about him though, but I personally really like the character and think he brings some unique aspects to Mortal Kombat. [sp]being fat, drunk, teacher and uses the drunken fist style.[/sp]

The only thing I don't like about him is how they made him into a joke character, which is why a lot of people hate him.
I really hope they make him into a more serious character if they bring him back.
They could start by making his Drunken Fist Style more accurate, and take inspiration from stuff like this.

Injustice was way easier in comparison and just three buttons for attacks didn't help. Combos were too easy and you could keep people floored or just plain unable to attack.

And, like the toys n spinoffs, you can do literally anything with him. There's dark age viking Spawn, mecha Spawn, pirate Spawn, ninja Spawn, commando Spawn etc etc. Would be cool if they made a special MK Spawn, along with classic Spawn.

He's not DC, he's from Todd McFarlane Productions
And has his name implies, he's a spawn of hell, existing to punish criminals or some shit. Before he was a mercenary I think? But he got killed by his partner. He accepted Satan's offer to be a Spawn for revenge but then he rebelled against Satan and fights his army also. His nemesis is basically a demon clown that can shapeshift.
