Season 1 of Spawn Animated is really fucking good. Avoid Season 2 AKA the endless drag with 0 character arcing.
Keith David was a great Arbiter in Halo, I'd love to see him as Spawn
I hope the new MK is good. Bought almost every game in the series and from the little I have seen so far it looks like its an instant purchase for me. Also I like how to me they manage to top Scorpion's design from MKIX. I like the more hooded look, reminds me of MKI.
I did some research on Spawn (first time I heard of him), he definitely would be a cool guest character and fits right in.
Also Kitana and Spawn have something in common. Both had a good friend named Jade who died. Just thought it a fun little similarity

Quan Chi is among one of the few characters I liked after Trilogy; the others being Fujin, Kenshi and Onaga. There were so many throwaway characters we had to get back to the core cast for MK9, and he was good enough to fit the bill. Hopefully MKX's new characters will be mostly decent ones.
Do you guys wonder if we'll ever see certain characters playable again in the next MK after MKX? Like, now since we have Cassie Cage, will Sonya or Johnny ever be playable kombatants in the future or is this it for them? Same with the dead characters that don't make the cut, though I feel like they can just plop them in whenever and just say "magic."
Oh, and as for my most hated character, I'd probably go with Sheeva. I don't know why, but I just hate playing as her.

Like I love necromancers and shit, but the way he moves and fights is just awful. He's like a pale, dirty, stompy baby. He fights more dirty than he does a sorcerer/necromancer.
Maybe his awful Deadly Alliance fatalities branded themselves into my mind.
Quan Chi's a master manipulator, a brilliant tactician, and a powerful sorcerer. He's not below fighting dirty if if serves his purposes.

That pretty much says all I want to about "hating" characters. I don't hate any one character unless it's because their moveset is way better than more interesting ones (MK9 Noob and Smoke come to mind for me), but seeing as kombatants are allowed anything from their hands, to tarkatan teeth or pistols and grenades, it seems as long as it serves the purpose of the fight, it's fair game.

His mind control move in MK9 is some royal BS. Everyone else's disabling move has predictability he just does it instantly.

Don't forget Kabal's dash. Quan Chi is nothing compared to Kabal. The only things Quan has going for him in a competive scene are his high low mixup strings and rune traps. Kabal has every tool you could ask for and it's why he enjoys the S tier all to himself.

In the iOS version of UMK3, Sub-Zero can just run up and keep elbowing the other player by mashing HP, and they can't escape it.
This doesn't happen in the arcade version, haven't tried on any of the other ports.
I'm epecting it to happen in the Game Gear version. That port is so terrible.
