He's pretty much the go-to choice, none of the other bosses are remotely recognizable compared to him and that includes Shinnok. I can say Sub-Zero or Scorpion or [sp]Liu kang[/sp] in public and people know who that is, and not even Shinnok qualifies for that level of recognition.
My money's on [sp]raiden or liu kang [/sp].

Personally, I found the Injustice method to be kind of... flaccid. I mean I recall a section where not touching the controller at all led to my character being absolutely saturated with machine gun bullets throughout the entire cutscene, just to shrug it all of with only a minor health ding in the resulting fight to show for it. I kind of appreciate interesting failures/deaths unique to the situation for royally fucking something up, y'know?
(As long as it isn't difficult to succeed and progress normally, of course)

That being said, seeing as how he's in the game, I'm excited to see how he plays. Johnny and Sonya are really awesome, Johnny's play style in particular looks very fun.
That Story Mode footage looks incredible, has me absolutely excited to get my hands on the game.

Golden Knuckles Johnny looks spectacularly intense, with all the life mechanics.
In all MK versions, I've mained Cage/Carlton, but now I have to choose from three (well, Sonya is his ex-wife, so that counts?!), it's gonna be awesome :D

It might be too early to judge them but is anyone else slightly disappointed that the new heroes are the less beloved offspring of our old heroes in the same game, instead of filling the roster with characters as cool as Kotal and Erron Black?

Because no one else answered, Ferra/Torr are actually under Kotal Kahn along with (as of now) Reptile, Erron Black, D'vorah and the Black Dragon.

I'll take them over the newer characters from DA to Armageddon. Plus there are only like 4 "offspring" characters from what I recall out of what 24 spots.
