New trailer with LIU KANG. Meaning that the character unlocked after beating the game is still unknown.

We can see BoRaiCho
Steve Blum playing as Steve Blum in the role of Sub-BlumZero
And Lui's fatality is goddamn horrible (in a good way)
I like this shot of Quan Chi hiding behind a rock. He's like a Saturday morning cartoon villain spying on the hero from a few metres away while his crony does the dirty work.

Some eagle-eyed peeps have spotted Onaga at the 0:26 mark.

For a second there watching that trailer I thought Sub-Zero was going to try and kill Magneto and now I really want Marvel vs MK
Soo basically through campaing we will first fight against possesed heroes and then magik happens and they get to be normal again and get old to kick ass as granpas?
those special forces commandos don't have a very long life expectancy, do they
Pretty sure the first few chapters begin almost immediately after MK9 and eventually after saving almost everyone, it goes 25 years later.
Didn't they say in one of the streams that it jumps back and forth between the two stories? I can't remember and I'm too lazy to check again but I thought they said that's how it's gonna go down.
Kombat Kast tomorrow.
It's gonna be a Black Friday.

From what I understand, the story is being told over a span of 25 years, starting off where MK2011 left off in an altered MK4 timeline. QTEs in MKX's story work in a similar manner to Injustice's, but with heavier storyline implications.

Please no, we already had DC vs MK and it was "meh"
Marvel isn't dc. Marvel would probably let the game be rated M, first of all.
Honestly, I have to give props to them for not retconning characters completely and letting PS2 era characters in on the action somehow even if they hate them so much, even if it is just dying instantly like Hsu Hao in the comics, just being a stage prop or minor character in the story.
Though I'm probably the only one that legitimately hopes BoRaiCho is in as a playable character and not just some passing story character.
You're not.
Let me remind you Marvel is owned by Disney...
So again it's really unlikely

Well yeah I get that, but we're not talking about comics here. And not about the Punisher. DC has made mature comics too and yes, Marvel has made more, but I still doubt we could see a gory Marvel game anytime soon. Last one was Origins Wolverine as far as I can remember.

And that was pre-disney I think?

Fuck.
I hope Erron has a fatality where he just does revolver tricks like Revolver Ocelot for 10 seconds while the other guy comes to their senses and starts to clap before just getting shot.
Or he does the "Russian Roulette" with 3 revolvers like Ocelot
http://www.twitch.tv/netherrealm - Stream starts in a few. I'll edit this post with any character info.
- Raiden has a cool Tron-style skin.
- sound design is being talked about. Also shown off is Sub-Zero's second fatality.
- Erron Black trailer. Badass X-ray.
- Black's Marksman variation gives him new tools that involve the rifle on his back.
- Outlaw gives Black some new tools involving the sword on his back. His impale lets him break off his blade and causes bleeding for a short while but prevents him from using sword-based moves.
- Gunslinger gives Black some new moves based around his revolvers.
- Onto Liu Kang. Dragon's Fire gives him a two-hit flying kick, chargeable fireballs, and a spinning backhand.
- Flame Fist gives Kang high and low fireballs, rapid-fire punches, and a parry.
- Dualist allows Kang to use different moves between Light and Dark stances.
- Onto Shinnok himself. We're gonna see Practice Mode in action as well.
- Impostor allows Shinnok to steal and use his opponent's specials, somewhat akin to how he fought in MK4.
- Bone Shaper gives Shinnok new combos and special involving weapons made from bone.
- Necromancer gives Shinnok some moves using skeletal hands.
ERRON BLACK YASSSS
Pocketsand as a literal move. Amazing.
rip [sp]shang tsung[/sp]
After them showing Erron Black on the stream, i'm 100% sure he's gonna be my main character in MKX. He looks so damn fun.
Tyler is making me more interested in Ermac than I should be.
Here's the ERRON BLACK Trailer since it hasn't been posted yet.

anyone else got videos/images from the cast?
Hands down my favorite new character. Definitely see him being one of my zoning mains. SO EXCITED FOR MKX!
i want to be excited but mortal kombat hasn't been known for it's great online netcode. unless they have improved upon mk9 and injustice netcode, im probably not going to be picking this up.

One of their biggest focuses this time around has apparently been the online experience. I have pretty high hopes, especially since Netherrealm has really been listening to input from their fans.
rip [sp]shang tsung[/sp]
It isn't too surprising, considering that Shinnok basically debuted as a Shang Tsung compatable with 3d games.
Hell, he may be literally channeling Shang Tsung this time around since Shang was basically made an attachable powerup for a character Shinnok now has complete control over.
I hope Erron has a more Clint Eastwood costume. I'm not digging this half Eastwood half armor deal.

looks fine to me
it's like if scorpion became a gunslinger
Rather have something universe-fitting than a blatant rip-off.
The hype train steams forward. Buying this game the second I can, been a while since a game made me want to do that.

Yeah, he's a pretty cool balance with some nice references. I feel like once we hear his story, he'll be a pretty cool addition. The sly little "Bullet with your name on it" was amazing, followed by a neat x-ray move.
