The first 25 minutes of the story were released too.
[sp]Shinnok throws a temper tantrum.[/sp]
Not sure why you didn't post it, but here it is for those that want to see it

at 12:40ish you see what people thought was Onaga. It's just a random monster.
That [sp]Fujin[/sp] model doesn't look like just another npc model to me (at least, compared to that bo rai cho model in the shaolin trailer)
Also, anybody catch not-smoke's name?
Also also, Shinnok is an amazingly hammy starter villain

Funny that the Czech guy with the North American accent working for a Chinese organization thinks he's a Japanese smoke demon

Blame Boons bushy brows.

its not confirmed being a japanese demon, is just a type of smoke & fire demons.
If we´re talking about its natonality, it probably be ukranian, duh...
its not confirmed being a japanese demon, is just a type of smoke & fire demons.
well no an Enenra is pretty specifically a Japanese smoke monster
which is why it's hilarious, because Smokey Tomas insists he is a Czech national (with a North American accent), but according to the lore is actually a Japanese smoke monster that also just happens to be in a Chinese ninja clan.
Mortal Kombat.

So uh... All of those tower fatalities are from playable characters.
And then theres Cyraxs bombs.
Uhhhhh.
They took the fatalities to the level they needed to be taken. I stopped watching after the first few, I want it to be a surprise... I hope you can mod in fatalities, although I'm not sure how it'd work exactly. Getting the animations in game would be easy enough I'm sure but having the bodies "react" (gore) seems like it'd be difficult.

Bo' Rai' Cho' is was thought of by a Spanish employee who thought that boracho (spanish word for drunk) sounded "Japanese enough" when split into separate syllables.
[editline]31st March 2015[/editline]
Is Johnny Cage's special green powers ever explained? I just realized, they play him off as a normal actor yet he just kinda is able to shoot green balls from his hands.

His MK9 ending revealed he was descended from a specially bred group of Mediterranean warriors.
They were bred for the gods.

Huh. When he defeats Shao Kahn, they simple say he can't control his powers afterward. Do you have a link to this? sounds interesting :o

Ohhh.
I think it was his bio, actually.
Mortal Kombat (2011): "There is no greater martial arts movie star than Johnny Cage. Films such as "Dragon Fist", "Time Smashers" and "Citizen Cage" have made him one of the most highly paid actors in Hollywood. But there is more to Johnny than even he knows. He is a descendant of an ancient Mediterranean cult who bred warriors for the gods -- warriors who possessed power beyond that of mortals. This legacy has made Johnny Cage a star. More important, it will aid him in the battle to come."
Aw, I keep finding myself getting into the lore of this series only to realize, there is no lore. It's just a bunch of cool sounding shit strung together over the course of a few games that forms a (barely) coherent storyline. Yet, it's still so fucking interesting. If I have to contribute one trait to MK's success, it's the ability to stay unique with the same basic setting/roster.

Erron Black's x-ray is interesting if that counts for anything.

I have a question, but I'll use spoiler tags just to be safe:
[sp]Why is Johnny Cage confused about his green power when he had them in MK9? I thought it might be a pre-MK9 flashback, but there are all those zombie characters.[/sp]

Huh, never seen Cassie's Xray on a male fighter before.
Kinda wish I hadn't.
