The final Kombat Kast before the game's release is about to start. The Briggs family will be shown off here.
- Jax's [B]Heavy Weapons[/B] gives him missiles and a machinegun, both of which can be aimed mid or high.
- His [B]Wrestler[/B] variation gives him some command throws, including the famous air Gotcha Grab.
- [B]Pumped Up[/B] lets you have a little fun with the Gotcha Grab, adding interactions that let it do different things. It also gives Jax a more powerful Ground Pound.
- Jacqui's [B]Shotgun[/B] basically gives her shotgun blasts.
- [B]High Tech[/B] gives her a plasma blast and the ability to enhance her punching attacks.
- [B]Full Auto[/B] gives her rockets and machine guns. Of note is that each of her variations will change the effects of her combos.
Just bought the game and season pass.
God it's expensive.
Someone uploaded Chapter 3 of the story on Youtube, and being incredibly weak willed I watched it.

That bundle actually doesn't have the Mortal Kombat X season pass, it has the version of Mortal Kombat 9 with all the DLC. But even then, it's still $45 for a new $60 game and a normally $20 game, and it's still a pre-order so you still get Goro.

It actually looks kind of funny. But I doubt that was what they were going for as it seems to be aimed at the internet demographic who likes things like gas masks and Soviet/Nazi style stuff.

I dont know if there´s some cutscene missing near ending or is just the real ending but, [sp]the ending almost had no sense, its like there was no explanation of what happened right after the shinnok boss fight cutscenes, why raiden went apeshit and killed shinnok and changed all about him??
I was expecting a real shitty story anyway[/sp]

[sp]The malevolent aura left by Shinnok must've corrupted Raiden when he tried to clean it out of the Jinsei. A similar situation happened in the old timeline, where Raiden reformed with bits of Onaga's evil aura after he sacrificed himself.[/sp]

I assumed because we saw human and older versions of characters like Liu Kang and Kung Lao that they'd be freed from being Revenants but nope, apparently Liu Kang and Kitana rule the Netherrealm now? I'm so confused. And now we're back the the "Evil Raiden" deal where he's no longer a benevolent protector but a merciless wrathful god. We're starting to go the way of MK Deception but with a twist I guess.
NetherRealm is really merciless with their sequel hooks aren't they. I already want the next game's plot [/sp]
Scorpion has been konfirmed.
[Sp]that ending was a mess. They left so many questions unanswered. To be honest, it almost seems like they're going to release to some story DLC to close some of the current plot holes, the biggest one being Raiden suddenly having Shunnok's head despite him being captured by Sonya. Plus Kitana's weird-ass cat costume in the final scene.
I enjoyed the story overall, though. Makes me wish Sean Rainnery were playable. [/sp]
