There's issues with the game's download right now. They're doing this weird thing where the initial download is only the bare minimum to run the game, and the rest is downloaded as you play, but the rest isn't actually downloading right now.
I'm beyond surprised that no official statement was released, you'd think there'd be something in the community discussions or the NRS twitter feed but nothing. I hope they're hard at work, lots of people have brought the game down to mixed reviews on steam due to whining people...

Yeah the PC version is currently DOA since they chose some stupid streaming download deal instead of a proper preload so I'd just wait until morning to try to stream the rest of the game then.

The samurai pack comes with the kombat pack, and for the sub skin, a percentage of sales go towards an $100,000 MK tournament.
The microtransactions are completely optional, and pretty redudant anyway.
So, what's the general consensus on the PC port?
I'm a bit sketchy of it seeing as it's done by the same guys who did the MK9 and Injustice ports (which were horrible), and there seems to be some issue regarding pre-loading, so most people seem to be complaining about the game not working at all rather than the quality of the port itself.

Well not too great right now, we can't actually play the game yet.
Thought id check out the screenshots section of the mortal kombat x steam page and its all pictures of menu's and errors.
Man, I just got really hyped about this game. And then I realized that it won't even be released in Germany at all.
My game just keeps crashing on Steam, nothing is even downloading in background while I'm trying to play it even tho they claim otherwise.

I've got mixed opinions about the krypt one though. Assuming there's no krypt monster this time, that's asking for way too much.

You can get those fatality skips in the game too for free.
Even if I sit in menu doing nothing the game eventually crashes/freezes itself. The screen just turns black.

Okay, so I guess to contrast GTAV's amazing PC version, MKX seems to literally be unplayable right now? What's going on here? Options are unavailable, configure setting crashes, and any option I pick crashes the game. Apparently this is widespread?

Me neither but they dont seem so bad. The corpses may be ugly as fuck, I haven't seen them yet but the wolves and spiders are pretty tame and I despise jump scares.
People with arachnophobia wont be able to go into the crypt though :v:
i find it quite funny heaps and heaps of people hated the Krypt monster on MK9 obviously aware of this they decided to up the ante Boon must be laughing his arse off in his office right now
