Tried playing the game, I get random frame rate stutters and terrible lag online. I have a somewhat dated CPU (AMD Phenom II X4 980 3.5Ghz) but even that thing is keeping up with GTAV which I would imagine be a far more cpu intensive game. I tried lowering settings and I'm still getting random frame rate spikes and the Outworld Marketplace level seems like the worst offender. This is with a GTX 970, which makes zero sense. I have a feeling this isn't optimized that great. Also where's our characters leaving the character select screen animations? Does anyone else have them? This feels like the PC version is getting the short end of the stick here.
Watched a guy stream yesterday. Scorpion and Sub Zero were locked.
Like what the fuck. Mortal Kombat and the two biggest and main characters of every game in the series is locked?

they arent locked, the pc version was broken , because of the valve preload crap. They work fine now.
Still can't download the packages. Apparently it's regionlocked for some reason in Germany and Japan. Funtimes.

I feel like because it gives you a skin for Shinnok it messes up and unlocks him.
Played through the story. Overall I enjoyed it, but I didn't really like the ending.

Another thing I find weird (But mostly just a nitpick.) [sp]That Kung Lao, Liu Kang, and Kitana never get revived from the revenant, yet there default appearances are them all old and alive that never appear in the story.[/sp] But once again, that doesn't matter much at all.
Now if I can actually get good at doing reliable combos and not just button mash.
Man I feel bad for the PC community, they got shafted pretty hard with the game being broken like everyone's saying it is, I think MKX is one of the best fighters I've played.

Well, despite the issues with the game's release, I decided to get it anyway.
Made sure to activate all the install packs as well.
And... I have everything, including Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Guess I'm just lucky.
The only thing I'm not liking about the game right now are things like X-Rays and Fatalities running at 30 FPS. The transition between normally fighting and an X-Ray is so jarring. I get it's supposed to be cinematic, but when it happens, it just doesn't look right.

I'm confused. I got the premium edition on PS4, how do I get my Kombat Pack?
Is there anywhere I can find some combos that show the PS4 inputs? I found some on testyourmight but I don't know what 1, 2, 3, etc mean.
1 - Square
2 - Triangle
3 - Cross
4 - Circle
B - Back
F - Forward
U - Up
D - Down
JiP - Jump and Punch
JiK - Jump and Kick
EX - Powered up version of special move (uses one bar)
xx or ~ - Pause
For example, the combo for Kenshi which I did above is:

Yeah it's quite noticable too. I'm not sure if it's just me but cut scenes tended to freeze for the first few seconds in Story mode (and you could see cursor doing loading animation) while audio kept going on PC version.
Got the Premium version at a nice discount. Hopefully it installs all the way so I don't have to deal with most of the issues others have been reporting.

Use DS4 tool to trick your pc into thinking its a xbox controller

Havent tried the bluetooth thing but when i just plugged in the controller by usb the keybinds were wrong because xbox uses a different layout to ps4 , installing the ds4 tool fixed that.
