Man this game runs shitty for me, can't run solid 60 at any time, not to mention the online netcode is absolutely horrible, everyone I've played with goes Scorpion or Goro and spams punch walk/teleport...
Is it my rig or the game? Drivers are up to date:
AMD Radeon R9 series
AMD FX 8320 3.5 ghz
8 gb ram.
Running all on high, changing settings does nothing for fps, so odd, I get moments of smooth 60 but then it dips dramatically and goes up and down, usually not sub 50 fps but the fluxxing is making it difficult to play. Suggestions?
Other than that this game is amazing, Cybernetic Kano is my main, not a lot of people play Kano I find
For me, online works fine, but I only ever play against my friends, so I probably didn't have to worry about playing with someone with a shitty connection or a different country with shitty internet. There's a bit of delay, but it's not bad, and certainly not as bad as MK9 on PC was.
Game runs... alright. I get slowdowns in the character selection menu of all places, and some maps have slowdown on them, but it runs smooth for the most part. I'm willing to bet the reason why I get such poor performance is because the game is using some form of Vsync that you can't disable in game. If there was a way to unlock the framerate for the game, I'm sure it would run great.
All in all, could be better, but a massive improvement over MK9's PC port in the way that it's actually playable.
Offline this game is really cool and I love it. Online it's a laggy mess and I fucking hate it.
Oh great. Here comes Shinnok with unblockables again. Time to practice Hellfire for two minutes!
I managed to have a few good online matches earlier but now every match just feels like a laggy mess.

Goro has gotta be one of the most satisfying characters I've played in a fighting game in quite some time
The offline portion of the game is fantastic, but holy shit did High Voltage leave its ass prints in the online. Constantly disconnecting, friends' games hard locking and just straight crashes to desktop. How the fuck did they get enlisted to make an MK port [I]again?[/I]
Whenever I go online and I try to use it's matchmaking system for both Ranked and Player matches it leaves me searching for like 10 minutes without finding anyone, and when I challenge people in rooms, it runs fine for about 5 seconds then disconnects me with the error message "this game session is no longer available".
Shame the story mode ends on a pretty flaccid note. I was enjoying it, but then it just... ended.
Man I'm so bad at doing -><- and <-->motions.
Hell even when I set it to a 180 degree motion, I still can't do them reliably.
I'm just bad at most combos... I always feel like I'd be better at it with a fightstick, but I they're too expensive for me to test that theory.

imo the combos are much easier to land here than in mk9
it also may be just me but the combat is much more fluid and faster than in mk9

I had to unplug my mouse and keyboard to change the settings for my controller, quite stupid.

So what's the point of joining any faction other than the Lin Kuei when they have 5 faction kills while everyone else has two? I originally joined special forces but I when I found that out I jumped ship.

Holy shit! I passed by GameStop today and what do I see? Mortal Kombat X for the PS4, even though it wasn't supposed to be sold here. They had like a handful of copies and the one I just bought was the last one. Man, this is awesome! I'm really enjoying it so far, Cassie kicks ass.

They give you an extra form of fatality called Faction Kill if you play well in them.

Highest Damage % I got with Kano is 53% but it isn't possible in a real scenario as it uses an enhanced move with X Ray. I need to experiment in the corners now as it is probably possible to push some of these %'s higher. I also know Kitana's Assassin form has one of the highest damage % kombos but it looks like a right bastard to pull off.
Is it just me or are the damage models a bit underwhelming, compared to MK9?

Huh? I'm in Brotherhood, I have 5 Fatalities listed. You unlock them by ranking up.
