Matchmaking was always shit in MK games. You can literally have 2 games played online and get matched up with someone who played over 100 online games.

Ermac's F21D2 is beastly, he has pretty high damage output. He doesn't even need to use bars to deal damage.

Well yeah but that's because when you do D2 you can't follow up with it, it ends the combo. D2 alone deals 14%, but the thing is that Ermac's F21D2 is a launcher meaning you can continue the combo plus it's super safe to do which basically means your opponent can't punish you for doing it.

Backing out of it and retrying fixed it for me earlier.
As much as I fucking hate Reiko and wish he never existed I could kinda see him working in MKX if they tweaked him a bit. His variations are fairly obvious enough. One where he's fighting with a hammer in his combos more, one where he's maybe calling off screen archers and shit to attack, and one where he's wearing Shao Kahn's helmet and can do the shoulder charge and energy blasts.
I have never seen someone even pretend to not pick Scorpion online yet. :suicide:
as a legitimate scorpion enthusiast this annoys me, it makes people think i'm playing him to be a scrub rather then my favorite character

This is why i hate liking scorpion, playing him just makes you look bad to some people.
I guess i just gravitate towards characters like that, because it seems like most people aren't fond of Erron players either, atleast i'm safe with Ferra/Torr.

Kind of, i haven't played too much online but the games i did play were pretty good in terms of connection.

Eh, I gave up on online anyways. It is not that much fun for me. Even though I win more than I lose it just gets so boring playing against Scorpion or Sub-Zero, and having to put up with dorks talking shit or sending messages saying I am somehow the one who sucks since they lost. I will wait for more of my friends to pick the game up and just play with them.
I'm not seeing all this Scorpion or Subs in aus.

Just watched a Finnish let's play MKX video. They chose Test your luck as the place to figure out the keys, but double Rain of ice and Ice rockets just lead to "Get the fuck out you fucking ice balls goddammit" and "what's the fucking purpose of having this shit in any game, what's the use of both players being frozen all the time?". Got around to playing it.
The story mode was pretty lame, in my opinion. It reaches its apex at [sp]Mileena getting killed which came as a genuine surprise considering all the buildup done around her[/sp] and then it just sort of drags itself along until it ends.
[sp]Shinnok was a really poor final boss, the corrupted form is less tedious than Shao Kahn was but that's not saying much, it was a mostly boring and sudden boss fight that didn't feel like it had any legit weight to it.[/sp]
At least this story mode keeps on the welcome trend from MK9 of taking shitty characters that appeared between MK4 and Armageddon and giving them a much better visual design, and the design of returning characters was drastically improved (especially Sonya).

Scorpion used to be my favourite ninja by far but now I just find him woefully generic, and not in an endearing way like Sub Zero.
There's just something so bland about him to me, I can't place it but it's kind of disappointing because I really want to like him more.
