What do I do against Cutthroat Kano who spams his knife throws from the other end of the stage? His instant spinning attacks make it hard to stay on him and once I'm far enough away they just destroy me. Jumping over them is also really hard because they seem to fly higher than most projectiles and they're fast as fuck.

Last time it was his x-ray now it's his cutthroat variation. They've done really well with Kano this time but this some next-level BS.
Knowing netherrealm they'll nerf him to an F tier all over again.
53% damage using a setup that can be cancelled and then using three bars of super does not sound overpowered considering your opponent can cancel out of it and the super it requires.
His (and jax's) unblockable 41% XRAY move from MK9 was a much bigger issue than this, to be honest.

I'm running it on low at 60 fps with a dual core and a 970, having some freezes every now and then but my performance is pretty solid considering the age of my cpu.

Fx-8350, 660GTX, 8 GB ram. I am running GTA 5 on almost the highest settings at 50-60 fps, so I think it's very weird how I am not able to run this at 30+ fps on low

Believe it or not, but MKX is also a newer, more graphically intense game than GTA V.

Yeah alright, true, but all things considered, I would've thought I'd run GTA better out of the two.

Why would you even do that when you can get like 40+ easily using only one EX knife cut

49% with 1 bar VS 53% for 3 bars (doing EX power up makes this combo deal 56%)
You should really never use all 3 bars at once except if you're losing and trying to use X-Ray as some kind of last resort.

I hope they don't touch Kano tho, he's one of my favorite characters (especially cutthroat). Not like he can do that much without EX bar anyway, the only launcher he has is EX knife so I think it evens out.

Well, the whole idea was that using the three EX bars to do that (Assuming your enemy cannot break) deals more damage than the x-ray. And is way easier than it should be in my opinion.

Does anybody know a good way to do the Special Moves that require you to press down first and then left right or vice versa? They are quite hard to do for me I cant pull them off in a realiable way except if I use the Pad instead of the stick. It's a bit frustrating because Goro requires it for example.

I'd like some pointers for this also. I'm having alot of trouble doing supers that requires 3 directional inputs. I cannot for the life of me combo into bicycle kick on Liu Kang. Or Commando Kanos grabs...

His fatalities are pretty lame in my opinion but the rest of the character is great, he's like a huge outworld weaboo.

Just rub the corner of your shirt against the buttons to mash all of them super fast.
Anyone else loving Warlock Quan Chi? His combos look so cool, struggling against corner pressure though.
