Reptile was the hidden character in MK, this was one of the phrases that appeared above his head to hint how to fight him.
I would absolutely love to see Reptile, he has a lot of potential with the variation system, and I want to see what design they can come up with for him.
Visually, I felt he was really lacking in MK9, a badass redesign would be awesome.
My bet is on returning character today, new character thursday.

his design is looking really cool this time round especially the scaley tooth motif his suit has, I wonder who the next is probably that Bow wielding person Nightwolf perhaps?
I just don't see Nightwolf as being popular enough to come back over the likes of Cyrax/Smoke/Baraka/Ermac/Noob ect.
I know Nightwolf has his fans, but nowhere near the amount as characters such as them.
The reasoning is that Ed said that half the roster will be returning and the other half new characters. If that stays true, I don't see ol' wolf making the cut over other fan favorites.
Personally, I want to see a few post MK3 characters. Havik, Hotaru, and Bo Rai Cho being my top three.
Reiko, if not in the initial roster, would be a great DLC candidate.
I'd love to see some post-MK3/UMK3/MKT vets besides Quan Chi make it to the roster. I guess the comics will be our way of knowing who'll be in and who'll be out.
What's gonna be interesting about the comics is how much has changed in regards to everyone introduced in MK4 and onwards thanks to the altered timeline.
I wonder if Frost is next to get the Hsu Hao treatment lol
