Also, if you update the game and have the stupid screen skew problem, verify your game cache, it should fix it.

They reverted the patch.

Fantastic. And I was hoping to get around to playing Jason with a good frame rate today. Now we have to redo the story mode, reunlock the Krypt, wait another week or two and download a second 15GB patch.

How they're still in business after all their shit port jobs - at least Zone of the Enders HD was fixed by competent people - is beyond me. Ports are all they do, they have terrible histories of lackluster ports, and they still get the job.
Probably because they bid the lowest for the job and WB figures 99% of people will play it on current-gen consoles instead of PC, so they didn't really care.

They rolled back the patch that contained him because it was wiping savedata that would ultimately sync to steam. A friend of mine lost all their progress and won't be getting it back.
They could've at least brought out Jason :<

Long story short: they reverted the patch because it caused to lose all your savedata and they screwed the main menu (like when it launched because of all the problems with steam). Everybody is upset with HVS and his shitty job (they had only ONE job, port it and test it, they didnt have to add anything new ffs)

unfortunately netherrealm believes anyone with arachnophobia should pay them $20 to get anything from the krypt.
it's fucking stupid that game developers haven't done anything about common phobias like spiders. MKX isn't a horror game.

I would go ask Steam for a refund, but I got my game over a grey market site so I'm stuck with it.
Oh well. When the game becomes properly playable in time for my birthday party in September it may be finally worth it. Thank god I didn't pay full price.
The PC patch has been re-released, this time without the whole "erasing your save data" thing. Boy, I hope you don't have a data cap.

Fellow PC whipping boys, if you're getting a fucked up weird zoomed in resolution after the patch, here's a quick-n-easy fix: Open Explorer, and punch "%APPDATA%\MK10" into the address bar. You'll be taken to a folder with an "options.ini" file. Delete or rename that. This'll reset your video options, but fix the problem.
I don't understand it, but somehow this patch has made the game perform [B]worse[/B] for me. Often I'll start up a match and everything will be moving in slow motion, and I still get shitty frame rates on Sky Temple.
This is with particles at zero, shadows on low and textures on medium, by the way. All the post processing nonsense is turned off.

Didn't Netherrealms Studio posted a fix guide about the Frame rate problem where you have to use the Adaptive V-Sync?Of course you must have the game in fullscreen at 60Hz or 59,99 Hz refresh rate.

Well I'll talk about something that isn't the shitty pc port, Jason is really fun, the kombo (I thinks it's F42) makes his combo potential really easy.

He does wonderfully absurd damage too. I forget which variation, but one of his midscreen BNBs does like 37%
