In 9 it was a eye poke, neck snap, and stomach kick. In X the neck snap is more of a jaw snap now, the eye poke is less Three Stooges, and the kick is now a head crush.

He's all over the place as far as the story is concerned, and the "old master/drunken boxer" archetype is kind of a staple of the genre. I could see them doing a lot of cool stuff with that where his fighting style is concerned.
