Ok guys I have a challenge for you. Start a game against bots with cheats turned on and try to finish the game as fast as possible with any hero of your choice.

Cheats on? So couldn't I just spawn fountain turrets next to every enemy tower and win before the clock hits 1:00?
How do u point out how Sven is weak to kiting and then call SnY bad
It gives health, armour, movespeed, and maim, on top of more attackspeed (and DPS on a whole) so you kill better anyway so you don't need to chase for as long
Plus it goes insanely well with HotD, and most Svens still get blink along with their SnY anyway, especially since only having Blink or SnY and not the other still leaves you vulnerable to being kited
[editline]25th March 2016[/editline]
aren't you 1k anyway
Still think 4200 could be better spent elsewhere, regardless of my mmr.
Sange and yasha is an item you get if you want to get objectives or kill people.
Also, because IMO, a good sven is a sven that doesn't needs to swing it a lot of times to do a difference.
The problem is Sven needs to swing as many times as humanly possible in the God's Strength duration otherwise he just gets kited to shit. Better to make some sort of effort to alleviate that (SnY+Blink) than not.
HotD > Moon Shard isn't an option, don't bother.

Wouldn't that be if you couldn't make the whole distance?
I'll check the difference with sny though.

Is there a way to tell which types of commends you got?
who is an excellent pusher of 6.86, someone who can end games early
lone druid
Is there a way to tell which types of commends you got?
Nope. They removed that for absolutely no reason.

clinkz is decent at it.
Sange and yasha is an item you get if you want to get objectives or kill people.
Its the item u get because it's good because both yasha and sange are high value items
Cheats on? So couldn't I just spawn fountain turrets next to every enemy tower and win before the clock hits 1:00?
That could work yeah, but fountain ain't that powerful compared to heroes damage with something like 6 rapiers
Fucking clinkz in every game!
Thankfully we won but god damnit he's such a pain in the arse. Pugna's Ward screwed him over a few times thankfully because of flaming arrows + attack speed.
since you're allowed cheats, you could just spawn infinite arc warden clones with 6 rapiers each
First time I think this has happend to me

I almost feel sorry for Ursa
If you have 1 minute setup time and cheats, why not just spawn 50 tinies surrounding every tower with focus on attack speed since it will die in one hit no matter what?

Guys, I'm coding a dota 2 counter-hero picker app for my college assignment.
However I have trouble finding the API for such information. Any idea where I can pull these stuff from?
Thanks!
(I'd love if you guys would PM me to spare the spam here :^) )
You ought to take this to the programming section, but Yasp is probably a good place to start since it's open source: https://yasp.co/
Assuming you want to do this the easy way and look up win rates. The better way would be rigorous consultation with good players alongside winrates, I imagine.

"How to deal with Spectre"
"Just have your team playing absolutely perfectly, making no mistakes, not losing a single lane and listening to every order you give them."
Really useful, thank you.
[editline]26th March 2016[/editline]
Dealing with Spec is literally impossible, the enemy spec is fucking Badman 90% of the time, crushes my offlane, gets a tower and free farm all game, while the spec on my team plays with his head up his ass 100% of the time, gets crushed on lane and feeds, makes a 30-40 min Radiance and gets sub 300gpm on the end of the match. Even when I give him all the space in the universe, he can't do diddly dick.
[editline]26th March 2016[/editline]
The difference between Spectre and the other FotMs is that there's not a single "hero counter-pick", there's no hero that you go like "yeah I'm picking this guy to completely crush this fucker", no, you require a perfect team cooperating, which you all know how cooperative peruvians and other south americans are.
I agree that there is no go-to counterpick for Spec, which is frustrating, but that video is right on point with how to deal with her. Personally I like picking Necrophos to troll spec.
I almost feel sorry for Ursa
You should give this to Dota WTF if they take entries
there is a counter pick for spectre.
You should give this to Dota WTF if they take entries
They do but I rather keep it only on my channel for personal reasons.
well lone druid has 12 slots so you can just give them both 5 rapiers, a gobbled moonshard each, then one ac and one full moonshard on either hero
5 rapiers + AC + Moonshard is 7 slots, also the bear can't consume moonshards since it's not an actual hero
Lion. I've only once not dominated the early game with Lion, he only needs tranquils and a blink which means you can afford to spend gold on wards and detection and mokes.
Really good against spectre too.

Rhasta is a better lion, shackles, hex and shock are so good for ganking, and after that you have wards to secure a tower. He's a fantastic hero if you want to control the flow of the game.
SS doesn't have the lane control that Lion does, he's too slow and squishy and can't trade effectively. His hex also starts out weaker and his mana costs are ridiculously high which makes him slightly farm dependent.
Lion is way better because of his self sustainability and his ganking power is actually much stronger because of his aoe stun and nuke ult.
