I think it might be good on a team with Gyrocopter.
Probably it is best if your team has a lot of physical Damage.
I think it actually works as a Aoe Linkens popper.
It would allow you to chase down groups of enemies with its aoe slow, instead of just one.

you got 4.3 CS/min with a midas, a radiance and a spell that lets you instantly kill a creep. there are lots of words to describe that, but "farming for a long time" isn't any of them

There's this thing where someone gets so cocky that they drop or sell all his shit thinking that they already won the game (But in this case it's even worse because there wasn't even a T3 tower down) just to Spit/bad mouth the enemy team, and 80% of the time results in them actually losing the game

Fun novelty? It's a core item. Aghs Nyx is ridiculously good. Use it with a blink or force staff and enjoy being free to stun and mana burn anyone from a mile away without any danger or risk.

And even if they get close, you're extremely bulky with the reduced damage it provides and you have carapace for a 2.6 sec stun.
