Yes but in a team fight, he won't do much unless the enemy is bad or unless he has finished farming.
He's still vulnerable.
Lycan however, with a bkb and shapeshift, is an extremely hard thing to deal with.
He can just run the fuck away at the speed of light for 5 seconds in the worst of his possibilities, and imo, I'd say he farms faster and comes online much faster aswell, to the point of being able to push towers as soon as he has any kind of necronomicon, faster than NP aswell.

so it doesnt even matter if his team wins or loses the fight, he's getting racks anyway

Not if his team sucks.
So many nps have had their base nearly all destroyed because they were busy taking down a couple of racks and meanwhile the enemy took 4 or more because his tema suffered from having one less.
Lycan on the other hand, can actually be useful in fights, and I'd say he farms faster because of the colossal damage per hit he makes. Yes furion has his ult, but lycan has his wolves and his damage always.
You know you could also just buy a way to teleport

And how hard is it to keep your lanes pushed out, or even better, fight 5 v 4 against their team and steamroll them. The problem in your bracket is probably that your team isn't able to take objectives after successful teamfights.

Yeah well I find it impossible that your team literally wont push every single time.
To play against Furion all you have to do is, simply, not let him push. I know it sounds wrong or some shit, but that's literally all you can and have to do. If the other 4 people are looking for a teamfight as Furion pushes, you have to dodge it and stop that noseless shithead. Usually it's a lot easier because you should be picking heroes or items that will help you deal with him.
But if you do nothing about him, not in draft, playstyle or items, you'll lose. Such is the case with pretty much any hero though, so I don't get the bitching.

You probably wouldn't like the last Furion game I played.
I teleported to bot to push their t4 towers while they were trying to push our t2.
I actually checked the replay and only 1 of the guys (he had just died) noticed me and used the glph, but that was right before their ancient died.
The worst part of it is that 1 of those guys had travels, and the other had a tp scroll.

skills that make u invulnerable
you can even dodge it with stuff like Manta if you time it perfectly. i remember seeing a CK dodge glimpse with his ult in a pro game
