is dota network dead right now?
Echo saber currently slows with both attacks, not only with the second one like advertised. Woop.
How does Echo Saber work with BH?
How does Echo Saber work with BH?
You can get 2 shadow walk hits in during the fade time. Hitting it with level 4's .25 fade time will be difficult tho.
How does Echo Saber work with BH?
Same as with everyone else, if Jinada is off cooldown that'll proc and then you just hit the guy another time with a normal attack.
since sange got removed from silver edge i'm anticipated the ogre club in echo saber being changed to sange to slightly increase its price and also to make some sense of its slow on proc
34% to trigger a bash, not double bash, which on itself pretty big
That's not how probability works. The chance of something happening given a certain number of attempts is 1-(compliment of probability of happening)^(# of tries), because the chance of something happening at least once is 1-(probabilty of it not happening), which is the compliment. The formula of something happening many times in a row is p^(#oftimes), thus, the combined formula. The bash has a 17% chance of procing at any given attack. The compliment, it NOT procing, is 83%. Say you have the item that lets you hit twice; since the bash does not proc twice, the probability of the bash procing once out of the two times would be 1-.83^2, which equates to 0.3111. We can ignore the probability of it happening both times, because it wouldn't matter; it already happened. Your point still stands, though, it's a pretty big chance of happening for it being a stun and the item only costing 2650. It's something that would destroy the mid game if you had a natural stun. However, if you built this item on Void (lvl 4 time lock with 25% ), for example, the probability jumps to (1-(.75)^2) 0.4375. That's almost a 50% chance for a 1 second stun at LEAST, and that's not even taking into account how psudo-randomness could increace/decreace the chances of it happening! This item is obviously completly broken in this sense. This should definatly not work on bashes.
Echo saber is actually pretty mediocre item and it severely slows down your item progression while wasting one of your item slots. I think the hype of it will fall off soon enough, also it really needs to be made so it can be disassembled.
I wanna try out the "new" Axe, and notably the Bloodseeker. Bloodseeker's STR gain got increased, plus I always liked to build STR items like Halberd+Blademail on him [sp]Blademail, which ALSO got buffed[/sp] and just go nuts, and now there's even a reason to build Agha on him so more stats+HP pool. It's like the Dota gods are telling me to go nuts with Bloodcyka once again, and that's alright with me.
From what I can tell most people in my matches can not handle Medusa mid. They always end up tanking mystic snake to the face. Is it worth buying Bloodstone on Winter Wyvern?

Weather you buy it is based on your playstyle, hero, and situation. That said, 43% chance for 1 second stun is a very large midgame advantage. It will force enemies to waste an item slot on a BKB or an escape item so they din't get ganked and fucked, or so they can be useful in fights when it starts. [editline]26th April 2016[/editline]
Is it worth buying Bloodstone on Winter Wyvern?
It depends on if you have Aghs and what role you are playing. It is a waste on hard supports but I can see it being good on an initiator. [editline]26th April 2016[/editline] I can also see the item being great on Slaridar; his farm is solely based on getting kills and the bash chance would serve him very well.
This makes no sense considering every bash except MKB's bash goes through BKB
Oh shit they do; forgot about that. So how would someone deal with that?
Is it worth buying Bloodstone on Winter Wyvern?
No. She only uses a lot of mana with her aghs upgrade, and you should never need to sustain that output. Just building straight +mana/int utility items like force, arcanes/greaves, and lotus will give you a large enough pool to use it for a long time in a fight. It's like witchdoctor heal. You don't just run around with it on 24/7.
Oh shit they do; forgot about that. So how would someone deal with that?
Ghost sceptors are a thing, or just building tanky. There's going to be a hell of a lot of vanguard purchases because of the new abyssal blade. Vanguard absorbs nearly any early/early-midgame gank. [editline]26th April 2016[/editline]
wouldn't it be core as fuck on PA? two crits sounds p good
Or you could build items that actually let you do damage and/or survive? HoTD is better any day. Battlefury is leaps and bounds better. Drums is better. BkB is critical. The item does almost nothing to augment your survivability, and survival/sustain items still augment your damage. HotD means you never have to go back to base because you can just go fuck up a few jungle camps and be at full health, and it provides armor, and ancient stacking, and the ability to clear those same ancient stacks. By comparison, sabre gives you.... a few stats, some mana, and some more average dps.
I didn't "get" it until I saw Waga use it on stream. It's fucking stupid as hell. [editline]25th April 2016[/editline] If this patch goes in fully before the weekend, WePlay Season 3 is going to be fucking insanity.
That's a disgusting abomination. And I'm a fucking noob.

But then whats the point of getting item for midgame when you have no items to take advantage of the double attack? With the recent armlet buff armlet stays relevant way longer than it as well.
But then whats the point of getting item for midgame when you have no items to take advantage of the double attack? With the recent armlet buff armlet stays relevant way longer than it as well.
Natural abilities
Still doesn't seem worth it, even on Spirit Breaker. You're better of doing MoM Armlet if you really want more chances to proc bash.
30% off of 200 != 60 And I fucking hover the mouse on the damage while taking the screenshot, great
It's 1400 more but the buildup actually fits SB. The other actual better option is to get Shadow Blade and make it Silver Edge later on which will be relevant for the whole game. [editline]26th April 2016[/editline] I mean it's not like you will walk around and right click people as SB without the charge, and echo sabre gives you opportunity for bash as you land into someone after charge and after that it serves no purpose.
the 100% stop on a five second cooldown sounds super great too I feel like nobody is acknowledging that part as an addition for heroes trying to quickly disable someone they're hitting [editline]26th April 2016[/editline]
Ghost sceptors are a thing, or just building tanky. I advise against going anywhere near the Reddit until 6.87 settles, they actually think PA is broken because of Echo Sabre with its amazing less than 1% chance to proc a double crit.
I advise against going anywhere near the Reddit until 6.87 settles, they actually think PA is broken because of Echo Sabre with its amazing less than 1% chance to proc a double crit.
It does also give a slow, which helps with chasing people down.
Slark is actually (nearly) OP now with all these item buffs that suit him.
It does also give a slow, which helps with chasing people down.
You have a knife that slows for 50% and can also proc attack effects like bash and maim on a 6 second cooldown as well as a blink that drastically increases your attackspeed on a 5 second cooldown for a reason.
And if you want lockdown on attack, how are bash and SnY not way better?? [editline]26th April 2016[/editline]
slark's new build is hurricane pike rush i'm not even joking
Ranged heroes only
I guess I'll have to stop playing for a while because I keep getting retards who go Mirana brown boots aghs and Gyro aghs, that shit is literally game losing.
Where would u get it in ur slark build, first item? Force staff can't replace the initiation of blink/sb
