When he or his pal dies, no one says anything because we don't really care. But when someone else dies, Lich is happy to give his useful insight.
So I say, "Wanna lose the game? Just say the word."

And then I proceeded to feed, with LC in enemy team notably. I don't do it often, never in ranked (probably 0.001% of the time) but really, it's all the same to me when it comes down to certain personalities. Sorry I should have been more specific. My favorite part about those heroes are the ability to do really early ganks with jungle creeps before 6. No other heroes can do that to the extent that they can which is why Im glad there is another option (especially one that doesnt fall off as hard late game).

For MMR calibration play as you usually do. Gaining more MMR because of gimmicks is worse off for everyone.
Also Aether Lens is fucking horrifyingly good on a lot of heroes.

Its true on both sides. Yeh he gets a lot of hate from people but as a pro player representing dota, he needs to not be so toxic. Im not saying being a huge hugbox but atleast filter yourself and dont make yourself seem like you are the biggest asshole.

I used to solo queue all the time, until one time some guy added me after I did well on a game with them and started inviting me to their stack, for a while.
Experiencing the difference myself, I can't bring myself to solo queue again, even in Custom games
I find solo ranked a much better representation of your own ability, I play with alot of different friends at alot of different mmrs and I really don't think unless they improve my MMR will climb if that makes sense? I'm not saying I'm the best of the bunch but I've hit 4K party a few times and just seem to float around there. I do feel as though I am around 4.5K but friends and matchings keep me there oh and when you go 3 stack you get the one 5K player and his 2K friend who is utter shit.

I just learned to get a thick skin, communicate when there are communicable people, and mute those who don't want to communicate productively.
In parties, it also doesn't feel like my skill is really tested; I'm usually the best player in the stack, so all I do is just hit creeps mindlessly in an efficient manner until I can hit heroes better, and that's usually due to the fact my friends aren't as serious at the game as I can be.
In solo, I can feel confident in playing support and core equally, as I tend to have some trust that a 4k hard carry can last hit more than 100 cs at 20 minutes.
Solo, in essence, feels like a whole different challenge for me, as the goal is to beat the enemy before your team falls apart due to your short-time relationships causing plenty of rage and frustration. It's kinda thrilling, in a sense.
i still dont get why anyone would train themselves to play solo instead of playing anything else, but more power to you
