should supports put their lives on the line for warding? cause i was just given shit for not going into unseen enemy territory to put wards down, even when we couldn't see a single hero. It didn't matter that when I did try to do that, I was killed because big surprise I ran across an enemy I couldn't see.
So is anyone annoyed as support, when you are "6-slotted" (Boots, item of choice, forcestaff, item of choice, smoke, dust, etc) and you really want to ward, but it slowly becomes hard to manage slots, and you can lose the smoke, but then comes the gem, but you kinda need dust because slow is handy and now you can afford Aghs, but you'd have to give up.....
Ye, being slot-fucked is part of Dota, but having to drop items, while flying bag of free gold is hovering around you, waiting for you to swap out items, use them on hill and then re-arrange inventory back, asking to get killed by enemy now-farmed carry / core / rich support / slight breeze kinda sucks. Dropping items for regen "abuse" is risk/reward and there's plenty of scenarios where you should and should not do it. Warding has enough focus and mechanics around to maybe ease it off in the future.
Does idea of 3rd Courier Upgrade seem far-fetched? Like unlocks at ~30 minutes (or X roshes slain, maybe feed cheese to the courier? Plenty of options) and gives given courier some additional properties :
- A bit more life (to survive 1 hit)
- Ability/Passive invulnerability of some kind (for example if in ~900 range of an allied hero, it's immune to damage)
- Extended range of inventory interaction (900? So you can swap items in and out more safely)
- Can place wards/sentries if within 900 units of allied hero
- auto-translates non-english languages for team in chat
Maybe not all the features I listed, but you get the idea. "Super" courier to basically act as somewhat of a money-sink for team as a whole (now carry can ward without dropping his butterfly!) when game enters "is this dota" stage of XP/Gold levels. I kinda like the idea of Courier being invulnerable when near allies, because teams could literally escort couriers with consumables and stuff like rapiers on them, without worry of them being sniped, adding a level of possible micro/use of consumables / smaller items even much later into the game.

No, you'll always end up going into uncharted territory to ward, but you should ask the offlaner or mid to come with you so you don't get chewed up. If they don't, then no wards for them.

The last "new" hero to come with a day 1 arcana was techies, and he got ported in 2014. Valve didn't do any day 1 arcanas last year.

Gauntlet.
The first image was supposed to show the underside of her hand as a way to show that it's a gauntlet. One of her early abilities I came up with would involve her cutting her hand on the blade to get more power, like attack damage or something, hence why the underside of the gauntlet shows her skin. I'm still working on the lore, but basically her sword is possessed and it's what makes her a "Hero".

I suggest replacing the full metal alchemist arm with a something like the manica shoulder armor this dude has, replace the poncho with a simple cloth wrap, add a belt, saddle bags maybe horse armor. Facial features like Cent's is also a must, but they can be seriously toned down for a believable amount of sexual dimorphism.

Someone drew "fan art" of her with a centaur warrunner look :v: Can't find it on my computer at the moment though.
This was brought up in the past though. I kept her current design however because my intention is to make her an "outsider" to other centaurs as sort of a nod toward the fact she wasn't made by valve. (hence the title [I]Bewitched[/I] Centauride).
I want her lore to reflect that without the sword, she'd be one of the weakest centaurs out there. But now that she has it, she only wants to test her strength against the strongest warriors.
I do take feedback seriously, but her appearance probably will not change much (if at all) from here to completion.

League did it and it's kinda boring. It helps a bit too much all heroes and not just supports. Now ganking offlanes/mids never have to worry about not having slot for dust/sentry, carry can have a smoke for 50g to test if he is getting ganked (you pop it and if its immediatly gone, run away), etc
