Such a horrible night for dota. It actually makes me want to quit it forever. I get forced to hard 5 position first game while we have some peruvian invoker lagging like fuck. Second game I go tide off against a trilane while my team's (really fucking strong) safe lane tri loses to solo enchantress and our hc goes midas while we all beg him not to and still only finishes it 12 minutes in. Third game I have to support again so I go bane and everytime I spend the first 5 minutes sleeping people out of position to setup kills. My safelane meepo fucks this up by not using net and my mid invoker (also lagging peruvian) can't land shit. I honestly would have been better off all these games by being "that guy" who just goes lc/ursa jungle afk for 15 minutes and ignores the team while we lose every lane. It couldn't have possibly been any worse.

Keep in mind these are probably reports from trigger happy morons, so they wont count them towards the "This player is actually a dick, send him to low Prio" list since that kinda stuff happens a lot. I had one guy report me for picking Crystal Maiden.

There really needs to be a tutorial or something on when to actually report people, where it shows you several scenarios and asks you to tell if it's worth a report or not
And more of a focus on rewarding trustworthy reporters with more reports and penalizing those with a bad track record by limiting their report pool (forcing them to choose where they use them more carefully).

I don't think you played enough on the SA server, people will report for the smallest shit.
Some general examples of the stuff If I see (on both teams MIND YOU)
(legit build) "the fuck is that build omg? we losing fuck"
all chat: please report x lol noob built y
(dude who has been carrying the team and does a single bad play)
all chat: lol report x because he threw
(a support who's not close to save a carry who went 1 vs 5)
all chat: report my support! fucking noob is never there!

People can have advantage for all of the game and win, but if they lose advantage for a single second they will go apeshit.
And I seriously doubt most of these people are trying to be ironic or funny, since they insist so damn much. If you don't wanna be reported you either need to stop playing or get a streak of amazing games.

Personally I rarely get reported, even if I play poorly. Maybe I'm just lucky that people who would report for having a bad game say so and give me a chance to explain to them.
However, a LOT of people can't tell the difference between feeding and intentional feeding, and think they should report anyone who dies a lot without helping, even if they were actually trying to help.

Y in theory it is not allowed to report because of beeing dumb.
However it doesn't matter anyway, as you will only get in low priority if you get reported in multiple matches (and then you definitly do something wrong).
Multiple reports in one game, from the same team, do not count (see dota wiki or older dota changelogs).

I don't get why they haven't explained how to use the report system. Most games I've seen people spam it in are this guys doing bad or I don't like how they play report them.

This, two or more teammates arguing nonstop during the first 10 minutes of the game means high chances of the match going to shit, they might even start to ask to report the other.
Dunno, my experience has been really negative for the past month, but even during "good times" I would see people asking in all chat to report their teammates. I don't wanna point fingers, but peruvians are the most vocal about reporting others, and another I wanted to add, I am unsure but I do believe the amount of people bitching for reports it's usually one or two, while the rest doesn't say anything. Reporting for unintentional bad plays shouldn't be a thing, i have lost count of the times I have replied with "Can't report for being bad".
If it was up to me, I would make it so saying "report" in chat a number of times sent you to low priority :v:

I'm about to give up on ranked, people are pretty damn dense. This meta punishes anything that's not 5maning, yet people get massively butthurt when things don't go their way and refuse to listen to anyone. I am not flaming, I'm trying to maintain a possitive attitude, helping my cores, played different heroes etc, nothing is helping
yeah call me a crybaby, duning kruger effect or whataever but this shit has been going on for over 30 fucking games. I get I shouldn't expect to be carried all the time or have easy games but the amount of winnable games that are lost due to one/two people being egoistic as fuck is ridicolous.

I feel like a support that doesn't buy wards/courier/etc, doesn't communicate with their team at all and tries to steal last hits from the carry is worth reporting. That's just me though.
