Have been reading the thread all week, and in response to those saying techies has been nerfed into the ground, I have to disagree.
In 3.5-4.5k I find he can work well, when drafted carefully, and never picked when there are counters; PL, Druid, NP, Zeus, etc. There's no point locking him unless you're certain the enemy has comparatively weak late game. I really don't think he needs any changes, he just requires more consideration than before.

Some of them are like do 30k damage or share bottle charges. That can be done in overthrow.

I had that challenge too if you mean 3 assists under 10 min, tusk + pretty much anyone works really well.

No, I mean do you really think Valve would actually let you do that? It would be easy, so very easy, to rig games for challenges.
If anything it would be more of a "Ohshit we forgot" and not a "custom games are allowed"

Techies is great.
I won every game i played with him so far, he opens up so much space for your teammates, drains so much resources from supports AND he can hold lains while placing traps. Anyone that says he's shit just needs to realize they either nees to get gud or stop looking at 1k techies games :v:

Totally makes up for the shit ton of past losses. I'm honestly more pleased with the spell kills, the early gank I accidentally did, and when I annihilated Invoker at 24:00. Anything that happened afterwards was icing on the cake.

Lately my game has been having issues (freezing when I close it, freezing when I pick a hero/countdown reaches 0, getting kicked out of the match as soon as I try to spawn) are these issues common since the last patches or just me?
