I love Warlock. Such a great Support + Fights Hero. So underrated.
Warlock is one of the most underappreciated heroes considering his strength. He is somewhat flawed in that he needs tons of gold to reach his potential while technically being a support. Definitely favour midas on him (like AA).
new dota 2 update explains why I was miraculously able to tp during a deafening blast
I like how the beret looks with the new set That's the least of the issues. Most popular mids absolutely shit on ember.
I've got so many great items on drow, I really wish she was more worth playing. She's so hard to play in pubs since the only thing that makes her worth picking is the aura. If you ignore the aura, there are other heroes that outclass her damage way too easily.

And lately I have been wondering why she hasn't gotten the centaur treatment, give her a new ult and increase her agi again.
I think she's just fine in the correct lineup. She's in the same boat as Sniper. If you can get a frontline bruiser like a BB Axe Cent Slar etc etc she's really fun. I would like to see a buff to gust's knockback however. The silence portion is great but the knockback duration feels incredibly weak and I often find myself using it to distance myself for escape instead of laying down damage during the disable.
Offlane sniper Peruvian invoker duo laning on mid Support who's a total cunt about buying wards or support items And we still won, SA is a magical place :v:
I always see people complain here about supports being dicks and not buying wards and stuff, what is your mmr if i may ask? Like i never have this problem and i'm a ~2k scrub that mostly plays techies. ( i do also play with 4k friends and i never had this problem there either. And yes. I play techies there too v:v:v )
2k scrub here, I buy all the wards and stuff. As long as my carries aren't dicks I prefer being support. As for Warlock, there's nothing more satisfying then dropping 4 fucking golems on a carry's face just before they kill your team.
I love Warlock. Such a great Support + Fights Hero. So underrated.
Warlock stomps the SHIT out of offlane Void. Shadow Word doesn't get dispelled by Time Walk and he doesn't get a huge chunk of health back.
Warlock's good guys I play him mid
mmr doesnt make a difference outside of 6k+ europe
Mmr can be seen not necessarily as a skill level, but the amount of experience someone has at playing the game. Like, you expect someone at 2k+ to understand that wards are important for your team and that IF you're playing a support you're supposed to buy them. Above anything else if need be. I've played across different mmr hights and you see player getting progressively better at the game. You see this in any competitive game such as cs:go, lol etc.. therefore the question 'what is your mmr' because it doesn't directly represent the person his individual skill, it helps paint the picture of what to expect. So it does matter, just not directly.
That is indeed a possibility, but that would explain itself by him sharing his mmr If he is 5k then the person playing on that account would most likely be boosted, having a bad day, under influence. If he is in the range of 2-2.5k i would've suggested to just but them himself. Assuming he was playing a carry, that is 300 gold that you can easily make back by killing some jungle camps on your way to where you want to ward. Saying mmr doesnt matter below 6k is a rather weird statement because it does, excluding those rare factors. It's like saying that a anything below global elite doesn't matter in cs:go. And yes it does.
I'm really tired of being in these sub 30 minute games. Bring back static farm meta, thanks.
mmr doesnt make a difference outside of 6k+ europe its just a 4 digit number
lol? europes the most inflated big reigon [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] listen to any pro player, they talk about how bad inflation is in EU
I'm incredibly salty I accounted for more than half of my team's kills and half of our hero damage, and we lost. At one point my xpm was 965.
:snip: leaving link
ive had this comment saved for awhile [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] also due to skill levels being different throughout servers, the skill level required to climb mmr will be different depending on where you are. the avg. skill level of some servers may be higher or lower in each mmr and so there will be better places for grinding. due to the nature of EU where it has the largest playerbase, the number of players is much larger so you will have more players in the higher mmrs which makes your games not only much easier to play but will lead to more "balanced' games
Might be because you're just killing people and have 108 tower damage
You know at one point I considered building pushing Timbersaw but then I remembered I'm not lobotomized and I continued to kill things. I would have joined a push had my team ever done so, but they were too busy feeding and being generally terrible at all aspects of the game.
If you're killing people over and over again you should be able to manage your team to actually push, do u think that everyone climbing and getting high mmr is playing with good teammates nah dude its ping spam and mild flame to get the fires going and make the team move.
We did that once, and the enemy team won it easily because even with my advantage my team was still useless. Forcing my team to push isn't going to help, the only winning strategy that game was to get my Sniper and/AM to farm safely, and they were a stack so they weren't listening to me. Believe it or not this was not on me, as much as you'll say otherwise. I did everything in my power to win this game but the matchmaking gods determined who was going to win before the picking phase. Of course I didn't play perfectly but I did more than can be asked of one hero
If you're killing people over and over again you should be able to manage your team to actually push, do u think that everyone climbing and getting high mmr is playing with good teammates nah dude its ping spam and mild flame to get the fires going and make the team move.
If you look at the system as a whole, yesthe brackets haven't moved Im talking more reigon to reigon (hence why I said eu is inflated) Due to the "soft borders" regions of dota it's very possible to inflate a reigon due to a) playing on a lower skill reigon and gaining mmr from outside and bringing it back or b) bad players come there and feed mmr for a bit Its why pros love queueing in china, it's isolated server (more so than others due to PW) means that there is less of that issue [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] Reading it again the reddit post rlly didn't matter
pros love queueing in china
Do pros from outside Asia play there with 200+ ping? When I started I regularly played on US West with ~160 ping which I found quite unpleasant. Nowdays I only play on EU West with ~30 ping and I would never go back.

It's a bit closer to the UK than us west :vs: [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline]
us dota is so fuckin bad [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] in eu west if you start talking on a mic theyre like hey yeah this guy has a game plan 90% of the time on us theyre like stop oppressing my freedom to fight pointlessly in the radiant jungleee
Why are u even queueing for us from Hungary my guy I also have had the complete opposite experience. On euw I get brainless apes every game and on us it's more like 70%
because I speak the language and playing video games that makes me eligible to have friends in other countries that speak the language so sometimes I queue us east [editline]22nd February 2016[/editline] us east is actually pussy dota, nobody dares to fight or initiate and all your 99% to succeed ganks are ignored on eu at least there are russian death balls which is infinitely more enjoyable even when you are losing
I meant isn't the ping awful from there but ok
Also did u try us east?
Yeah of course, with about 100 ping. Only reason for West is friends.

Is not an issue that's in 100% of my games, but there's sometimes that one guy who either picks a hero who's not very good for solo supporting (then whines when he can't get gold for item x), or something like crystal maiden and stands in lane doing nothing, then bitch and moan about the team not winning. In both cases they are total cunts about supporting. Also I never post after getting good supports on a game :v:
