The fact of the matter is this yames solo carried and salvaged your utter shit show of a major its obvious that bruno and some others asked to give him another chance but valve has worked with james before they know what hes like you know what your getting with him if he fucked up hard you still must give the community a real explination to the community not something that is the equvilent of a shit post
with the fanatic era debacle of the past valve handled it well, why they cant do something similar here i dont know

Nope, because of Vavle's antics over the last couple of years I'm not buying my games on steam anymore. Of course for games I still need to redeem them on Steam, but every little bit helps I suppose.

We all go through that phase where we lose intrest in playing and just watch matches and stuff and when my schedule became unpredictable to where i couldnt sit down and play a full match with certianty that i wont have to leave and risk low prio
that was what i started doing but now im not really into watch matches either because im playing a lot of xcom 2 and return of reckoning and battlefleet gothic armada will be releasing soon so i dont think i will be playing anytime soon
plus i sold a lot of my hats and arcanas on the market to buy stuff on steam so im not as attached/feel invested

The fact of the matter is the entire dota 2 subreddit pulled out the pitchforks the moment someone said 'it was valve not perfect world'. The fact the major was an absolute shitshow up to this point was a major drawback for a lot of viewers.
Valve wanted to make it very clear that they were aware of the problems and that they were working on fixing them.

I don't know about you but I've never seen a commentator in any sport that openly insults and mocks players while commentating.
Sometimes they criticize players, but they still keep it professional.

Then you must not have seen much of 2GD, he pretty much takes the piss out of everyone, including himself. Maybe he went a bit too far in that 1 case, but when you're going on for hours trying to fill a void that shouldn't exist, you might say some stuff that doesn't sound offensive to you, but can be offensive to others.
I think calling him an ass as your justification for firing him is kinda unwanted though. He's a nice guy and he's helped a lot in the history of esports.

Valve is pretty much a shithole for any type of organization. Why do you think HL3 hasn't been made yet? No one wants to make it. I mean you look at some of the shit that happens in Valve and you wonder if the other departments ever talk to eachother at all.
Also Gabe's become Vince McMahon, with all that firing and trying to make Dota accessible for all audiences.
