Last time I played Invoker it was due to me sticking to my randoms. I believe it was age when Quas/Wex was only way to go and racecar (drums, euls, TP boots) build was going out of fashion. It was also times when you couldn't fuck up EMP+Tornado, so pre-6.74.

When I started Dota, I played Lich for a ~ hundred games.
Then I randomed for 2-3 years I believe.
Now I am mostly picking supports because noone else will pick a god damn support. Unless I am in normal games, where team composition matters little.
I know Invo basically from exposure of being against/with him, but just some tid-bits that might not be so apparent from watching/replays/etc. This is what I could really use.

Actually I only wanted to try Doom because Doom was what got me into this game.
The last time I had any familiarity with Invoker was forever ago, I exclusively went exort build. Not too long ago I randomed Invoker and thought exort was probably bad, so I went quas wex, and I sucked a lot. I don't think invoker was even in the game when I initially started.
I remember ending up with him during his previous quas wex regime, I remember trying it out once and not liking it very much, I remember in the future games just going with exort no matter how overpowered quas wex was at the time.
I will have to win one game with Invoker to do the same quest though, probably just gonna go with classic Exort since it's back in style.
The best part is I don't even play Doom anymore.
At first I tried playing 4 matches with huskar. Didnt touch dota for six months after.
Then I commited a travesty and spammed a lot of sniper and bloodseeker. But it was fun back then because nobody knew what they were doing.
I even named my sniper immortal +44 sturmgewehr. :v:

for me it was meepo. i practiced the hell out of him in bot games, started binging on him when I finally learned how to play him, and now I'm completely sick of him and never play him
