So has the ranger armor been released yet?
The mod everyone was waiting for: Thomas the Tank Engine in Fallout 4. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7740/? Happy New Year.
So has the ranger armor been released yet?
They're waiting for the geck so that they can make a plugin because they don't want it to just be another craftable armor mod.

so how do you get the railroad and the minutemen to work together? [sp]i've heard you don't have to side with the railroad but i feel like it's gonna get shitty with them if i don't[/sp]
so how do you get the railroad and the minutemen to work together? [sp]i've heard you don't have to side with the railroad but i feel like it's gonna get shitty with them if i don't[/sp]
I'm pretty sure you have to [sp]get kicked out of the institute while working with the railroad, and then dez tells you to work with the minutemen[/sp]
You can now actully play as Liberty Prime as a Mod Now i can walk around, throw Nuke Bombs at my Enemy and yell "Communist detected on American soil. Lethal force engaged."
The R91 mod is cool and all, but I would hold off on it until later because as of right now it's got some weird lighting bugs and the textures are super low res. [t]http://i.imgur.com/7lAVhR3.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ginTVo9.png[/t]
I want to do a railroad play-through , but i just can't bring myself to do it knowing that [sp] they have no plan beyond nuking the place that makes the robots they want to liberate... (ffs bethesda). every other faction has a plan for the commonwealth, even if those plans are dumb it's better than some nonsensical nuking followed by nothing[/sp]
If it's any consolation, [sp]the Brotherhood will ask you to destroy the Railroad and the only way not to destroy either is to side with the Minutemen.[/sp] It's really stupid how instead of proper faction quests the Minutemen just have a shortcut to the ending that can be activated as soon as [sp]you enter the Institute.[/sp]
I tried to make the wood part look better and failed spectacularly because I am not a texture artist. :downs: [editline]5th January 2016[/editline] Yeah the lighting bugs are because of his textures actually, I just opened Photoshop and resaved it and it was better - not great and perfect - but better.
Holy shit guys, somebody actually managed to mod in the R91 as a standalone. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7715/?
It doesn't even look like a R91. It looks exactly like a FN FAL [t]http://www.silvercrescentindustries.com/gallery/FAL-L1A1/FAL-L1A1-2.jpg[/t] Instead of a CETME, which the R91 is actually modeled after [t]http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/outdoor-sports-recreation/1222394d1392915266-cetme-tips-tricks-repair-help-cetme8.jpg[/t]
Man I really can't express how much I want Obsidian to make another Fallout game on Fallout 4's updated engine.
Uh IMHO I think the worst aspect is the engine, it's fucking shit. It breaks immersion constantly with the shitty animations, the complete inadequacy when it comes to building stuff (everything floats), ... Sure, it looks nice and it has served its purpose well but I wouldn't stand another FO game with that engine (granted I'll play it anyway :v: ) Imagine that FO4 used the GTA V engine...

Then I stand corrected and I guess it's Bethesda being terrible at using that engine. It's just frustrating that they don't seem to want to improve in that aspect, it's my #1 gripe with all of their games. In short, they're sloppily made games.
bethesda is just bad at animating things that are mechanical, although they've certainly improved. mind you, i reckon that's mostly because the iD guys worked on the weapon animations or at least gave a shitton of feedback on them.

They seem to be kinda stuck in a "damned if you do damned if you don't" situation.
Something ain't quite right.
Also, not to forget macready's "headshot anybody from any distance because we missed a decimal point" perk
That's not a bug. That's a feature. :v:
I really hope Bethesda is able to pull off another "The Pitt" like DLC. It's one of the prime examples that Bethesda is in fact able to write descent stuff after Morrowind, and then that quality somehow again plummeted in all the other products they released afterwards. I really loved how The Pitt wasn't really black and white, pretty much all factions had goods and bads, and founded reasons for their actions. [hd]https://youtu.be/eqdZiukZUsA[/hd] Also I really loved the art design for the Pitt. The level of verticality was pretty amazing, walking over these bridges that connect the ruins of the skyscrapers, with the people living all over and in it. This DLC gets even better when you play though it in Tale of Two Wastelands. All the gameplay improvements that New Vegas introduces make it even more so much fun, like holdout weapons that allow for a very stealthy approach in this DLC.
I could never bring myself to kidnap the baby and always turned against the slaves, anyone else
I could never bring myself to kidnap the baby and always turned against the slaves, anyone else
I never took the baby. I always figured Ashur had better resources and authority over the pitt to develop a cure than the Wernher did, allowing it to be made faster and reach more people. Plus, while Ashur was by no means a good guy, he seemed to have better intentions than Wernher, who was just trying to take over the pitt for his own gain.
you mean there are people that didn't install the mod and eat the baby
I could never bring myself to kidnap the baby and always turned against the slaves, anyone else
Pretty much, while the plight of the Slaves was understandable and I did feel bad for them while working with Ashur, the Slaves themselves were working under a leader who was ultimately worse than Ashur and I believed Ashur had a far better chance to create a cure for the Troglodyte Degeneration Contagion, like he's a slave driver but he genuinely seems like he cares about everything and he's the kind of person who can see the bigger picture, do some bad now and in return the future will be better and he'll eventually cure everyone. The Slaves less so and while freedom is nice, the ability to not die from a extremely viral disease that either turns you insane or into a monster, or again dead is even better, Ashur has a chance at making the cure, they do not and while Ashur was a bit of a bastard, he was at least an honorable one, Wernher seemed like the kind of person who was doing it just because he wanted the Pitt and it's power for himself, he could care less about everything else and the bigger picture.
Ashur: Without it killing our kids, we can grow like a real city. No more bringing in slaves. No more forced labor. Things can get better. It's taken me a lot of work to rebuild this city. With your help, it's finally going to have a chance Ashur: But once we do have a cure, things will be different. We won't need to kidnap people for our city. We'll be able to grow naturally. Until then, this is the way it has to be. It's just what has to be done.
Like I genuinely believe him, he's been put in a position that requires him to do some pretty bad shit just to keep everything going, he does it knowing everything will be better in the long run, man Ashur was such an awesome character.

i meant to post this yesterday but forgot repeatedly
I could never bring myself to kidnap the baby and always turned against the slaves, anyone else
i used to be the same, but when i played Tale of Two Wastelands it made me realize - Ashur is basically the start of the next Caesar's Legion, who i was planning to side against in NV. makes siding with him seem a lot less forward-thinking knowing what it probably means for the Capital Wasteland, and makes working with the dirtbag slaves look like the actual "morally grey but forward-thinking" option.
