And what would go great with a boxing arena is boxing gloves [t]http://i.imgur.com/dybxEOV.jpg[/t] gloves
are you fucking serious, they did that again? like in NV they made you wear a fucking glove for the pipboy that overwrote every armor in the game, like you wore power armor with a single hand ungloved because of it and its always pissed me off. the 1st thing i do after doc mitchel's house is remove the pipboy glove because its stupid, they even modeled the other hand for some fucking reason even though they never used it on the player i thought they fixed that for fallout 4
What. They didn't innovate at all with Oblivion, in many ways they actually went backwards, especially in terms of magic, they just straight up removed a lot of spells (RIP levitate). The faction system also got dumbed down to shit with you being able to join every faction simultaneously, as opposed to Morrowind where you had to make choices about who you were siding with. Fallout 4 not bringing anything new is just false, the power armor system is brand new, as is the settlement building, weapon modding isn't new to the series but it is new to Bethesda's games and I'd say they did a pretty good job with it as well.
Morrowind is my favourite game but let's be fair, the only factions you have to choose between are the three Great Houses. Including the two MQ factions and Bloodmoon's East Empire Company you can join twelve factions at the same time. The only negative impact of joining a faction is a disposition loss from its rivals, which is completely negligible if you join them too. (Yeah there are also the three vampire clans but they lock you out of almost all normal society so I didn't count them.) Still, I don't mind that factions function differently in TES and Fallout. TES is about having the freedom to join who you want outside of the main quest and progressing with them providing you have the skill and do the work (Skyrim fucked this up). Fallout has always had more emphasis on the main quest so the factions feed into it more - NV and FO4 are the same in that you can work for each faction up to the point you have to betray the others. Bethesda got quite sloppy with the four major factions this time though.
holy shit this guy is so cringy it's funny like making texture mods is hard right guys
Well you know, you do have to at least have the cognitive capacity of a 12 year old to do it. Not everyone can just make a texture mod.
I hate it when shit happens at my settlement and settlers rush into my power armor this pisses me off way more than it should get the fuck out of my power armor you filthy scrubs it's not for you
I do texture mods when I want quick creative fun and am feeling too lazy to do a full model project. It's not easy, but also not exactly something to get a big head over given that it's pretty low on the difficulty scale for modding.
I hate it when shit happens at my settlement and settlers rush into my power armor this pisses me off way more than it should get the fuck out of my power armor you filthy scrubs it's not for you
I think if you take the fusion cores out of your power armor suits they don't bother with them. I don't know for myself since I store all my spares in a power closet.
Why the hell does everyone leave cores in their power armor? You don't leave the keys in your car when you get home do you?
holy shit this guy is so cringy it's funny like making texture mods is hard right guys
I can program but my texture work ends with pixel art - texturing is hard as hell.

I want to see this remade now that we have cloth physics.

A bit late to the party, but I can definitely feel the lack of replayability as I'm going through the game. Aside from the clusterfuck that is navigating all of the waypointed areas within downtown Boston, the rest of the game just feels devoid of stuff to do. You've got the faction quests, but once you've finished those all that's left is a swath of repeatable quests, and the faction quests don't even have any oomph behind them when you're done, like they just stopped halfway through. For example, [sp]there are cut lines that indicate that after Danse gets exiled you could challenge Maxson to trial by combat to reinstate Danse and become the new elder.[/sp] Shit like that gets me so bummed to hear about because it would have been awesome to play through, but instead [sp]Danse gets exiled, life goes on, no one mentions it.[/sp] I've got twice as much time in this as I do Fallout 3, but half as much as Skyrim and New Vegas. I feel like it's better on the first go then the others, but lacks any of the charm that makes one want to give it a second go.
I wouldn't be surprised if all factions had a better alternate ending at one point then just "[sp]Institute bad, better blow it up[/sp]" or "[sp]Institute good, blow everyone else up[/sp]"

They can't have a glove on either hand because stupid engine reasons.

I hate how this game handles distance performance Like instead of what normal games do where they load a lower poly version of what's in the distance and enhance it as you get closer, this game draws nothing then when you get closer it loads the full poly version which causes massive lag spikes it also looks awful, I saw an entire highway just pop right in and that's not good at all
Currently in the process of installing and configuring an older DOS emulator (with filesystem support) on my tablet, which I plan to sideload with Windows 3.1 and then Windows 95 if all goes well. All to play Fallout 1/2 on the go. I am a madman on a mission. [editline]t[/editline] Mouse emulation is supported and so is the keyboard in the case I have for it, so if I can get them running it'll be like playing them on a little laptop :v:
Mouse emulation is supported and so is the keyboard in the case I have for it, so if I can get them running it'll be like playing them on a little laptop :v:
Good because Fallout 1 and 2 both don't like touchscreens and your input gets super distorted.
From what I understand if you force 4:3 res and use software pointer (windows cursor controlled by using the screen as a trackpad, not direct touch control) they're absolutely playable. Performance would be the only major concern, but I have a few ways of fixing that if it's too slow.

holy shit that guy is crazy.
I'm kinda laughing at the "band of henchmen" bit. I mean it's not a terrible retexture. It just looks like a shag carpet or burlap redone as a flag with a crap Latin phrase.
"You don't have a mod, therefore you don't know how they're made."
I wish he didn't ban me from his texture's page because now I want to debate history with him. It seems like it would be worth a few good laughs.
