is it alright if i honestly did find it a little sad when you [sp]betray Father at the very end and he dies completely hating you? i mean the plot doesn't make a whole lot of sense but it felt like a real genuinely shitty 180 from the start of the game, even though you had no reason to care when they were just [INSERT PLAYER MOTIVATION HERE].[/sp] i only wish the whole ending sequence and post-game had that kind of tone instead of the super inconsistent one we got

i guess they tried to recapture that in the railroad ending when [sp]Patriot kills himself and directly calls you out in his suicide note[/sp] but that felt like they were just going out of their way to subvert your happy ending (that wouldn't have even been all that happy in the first place if not for the mood whiplash)

has anyone made a decent beefy minigun firing sound replacement that isn't just a real world soundbyte?

the vanilla doesn't sound heavy enough but it seems like 4 out of any 5 minigun firing sound mods are just taken from YouTube videos of GAU-8s or M134s and that's boring to me

I usually add freckles and be sure to remove all the make up on the default preset. Blush sometimes works too.

So after I finished the main questline with the Railroad ending, Paladin Danse bugged out and won't let me recruit him, it just gives me the generic "Can we trade a few things?" and opens the trade dialog as if it was a settler whenever I talk to him. I've also done his personal quest

Any ideas how to fix?

New DLC idea

A vault tech command vault that itself was a sadistic experiment, all the senior staff of vault tech piled their families in and then thought they were running the remote experiments linking them to other vaults instead they were te experiment overseen by an even secreter faction of vault tech

What are you doing? Re-recording all the lines? That would be pretty cool because then you can install that mod from the start, get used to the voice, and be able to tack on extra content.

It's an intentionally goofy (sounds realistic but in a yelling tone) voice so there's not much in the way of immersion, but yeah I plan to support other mods.
