It's kinda depressing hearing people play at 60fps "butter smooth" and I get 30-50 and have all kinds of stutters and no mods that I use can fix it.
Ok here are my problems to go along with this:
-There's literally an area to the right of Boston Common where no matter what I will always get 5 fps. For no reason. It always happens.
-Walking near a settlement will cause my game to turn the antialiasing to Bilinear, freeze, show the loading insignia at the bottom right, disable all hud elements, and then just continue like nothing happened
-I can't set any of my video settings any lower than high or ultra or the game just won't launch without crashing
-Somehow people are getting more than TAA antialiasing and I have no idea how the hell they're doing that
Mod Idea: POW Mod
Have a bunch of pussy prisoners left after clearing out a raider camp? Make them work your farms and earn their freedom! Don't wan't to deal with them? Restrain them and leave them to their fates!
Basically, be able to enslave raiders. When you intimidate, pacify, or lockjoint someone, you should be able to put them in cuffs and lead them to your settlement if you want.
[t]http://oi63.tinypic.com/296i54h.jpg[/t]My current character. Roughly as overweight as the default sliders will let it go. WHY MacCready appears to be checking out my ass, I don't know.
[t]http://oi68.tinypic.com/xm3lg8.jpg[/t]My primary weapons. Bark Bark Yum Yum = Justice, Explody the Pup = Explosive 10mm Pistol, Your Head Asplode = Tinker Tom's Special. I couldn't come up with a "witty" rename for Old Faithful.
Old Hateful.
fuck, this game thinks of almost everything

How exactly is that hidden?
One thing I like about the "Explosive" Legendary is how if you go for leg shots on feral ghouls, you sometimes destroy both legs before the game can register the damage. This results in the ghoul just standing there, "hovering" cartoon-ishly for a second or two due to lack of legs.
Finally finished the main story today. [sp]Sided with the Institute, watched Shaun die, then walked back to Vault 111, opened the cryo pod for my spouse, grabbed their wedding ring (bc I forgot it at the start of the game), then saved right before committing suicide.[/sp] I think it's a fitting end, and if the game was written a bit better, the action would be justified and [sp]____Shaun dying____[/sp] would actually be sad.
My next character is going to be max STR + LUCK, Everything else near 1, except for Intelligence which will stay 1. They'll be a junkie who takes every single chem they can get their grubby mitts on.
Okay I'm just gonna say it: I hate how weapon modding is a substitute for weapons. Like I'm not saying I hate the new weapon crafting system, I'm saying I hate that because of how modifiable weapons are now there are now less actual different weapons.
I miss things like pump shotguns, SMGs of different calibers, heavy pistols that aren't magnums, things like that.
if you jump over the wall at covenant the residents go hostile
I was hoping for some dialogue like at tenpenny tower
Which version of the minigun would you say is most effective in the hands of a settler or companion? Standard, accelerated, or tri-barrel?
I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of each, but it's not as easy when the AI is unpredictable. High fire rate but low accuracy and range might mean they'll waste more ammo, but they don't have the sort of targeting distance needed to make good use of the tri-barrels either.
So a super mutant, a pair of deathclaws and a behemoth walked into my sight lines....
Sniper is a OP perk at rank 3

settlers have infinite ammo for miniguns don't they?
settlers have infinite ammo for miniguns don't they?
They do, but I still want to make every shot count. Also I plan on having Cait use the kneecapper minigun I found, so I want both a good fire rate to have the effect proc as quickly as possible, and enough accuracy to ensure she'll be wasting fewer rounds.
Tri-barrel seems the obvious choice for the second point, but sometimes companions refuse to fire it if an enemy is too close, opting to bash instead, so that means the cripple effect will be even less likely.
I wish we could've seen how everyone who didn't get lowered into the Vault at the start react to the nuke and how it effect them, like did anyone get sent flying backwards? Did the Power Armour dude's even get nudged? Who didn't die straight away besides the guy's in Power Armour? Chances are they just stood there in reality but it'd be cool to see it from the perspective of someone who didn't go in the Vault.

Psst. Go past the checkpoint out of Sanctuary Hills at the start of the game.

"I love you"
"I love you too"
"Oh my god"
Brilliant.
I tried my hand at making an Operation Anchorage skin for the T51 even though there is already one on the nexus. Thoughts?

I plan on making it for the rest of the PA's as well, but probably won't release it until I find a way to make individual power armor paint jobs or until the GECK is released.
Now it switched from "kill ghouls a world away/help those darn Abernathy's" to every third or fourth enemy is a Legendary. It would be swell if they were worth better stuff. I mean, a Kneecapper Laser Rifle is fine, but stuff like a Board that does radiation damage or +1 STR leather armor is less so.
is there a version of the agerace command in fallout 4?

tbh I'd prefer it if it was just a replacer, looks good though definitely
[editline]10th January 2016[/editline]
okay so
is there any actual, canon reason in the lore or something that the t-51 armor is only green on the pauldrons and torso? like... is there any real reason for that besides poor design choice by the developers?
I have created 2 of the most advanced weapons in the Commonwealth.

You know what I wonder? Why everyone hates Fallout 4.
It is miles better then Fallout 3, and a tiny bit better then NV.
Sure, it may be lacking a bit in the RPG department (and the dialogue was immersion breaking unless you mod) but otherwise the game was brilliant. The gunplay, the voice acting, the story, the characters, the quests, etc etc. The only thing fallout was missing was speech checks and no voice acting, and I am sure someone will mod up a speech checks mod to replace some charisma checks.
The graphics are awesome too (for a Bethesda game) and considering its running on skyrims engine... The karma system is missing, but that isn't really a loss. Who doesn't get tired of the annoying YOU HAVE LOST KARMA notifications? Not to mention, in FO3 if you blow up a METROPOLIS OF PEOPLE in the CAPITAL WASTELAND your father just looks at you and is like 'I am sad.'
And why does the Brotherhood of Steel in FO3 HAVE to side with you, even if you are a mass murder who kills everyone he sees?

4's better than 3 in a few ways, most notably the gunplay and the graphics, but it also falls short in a lot of other aspects, most notably the Roleplaying portions. At least in FO3 you were much more open-ended in exactly what you wanted to do and weren't forced into being a mother/father.
No way in hell is it better than NV, though.
fuck, my merge

"it may be lacking a bit in the rpg department" is a hilarious understatement, "it is miles better than fallout 3 and a tiny bit better than nv" is hilariously misguided and "everyone hates fallout 4" is just hilariously wrong
in all seriousness fallout 4 is a fine game, though it's differences make it too far removed from some basic and foundational design principles that made fallout 3 and new vegas the unique gems that they are for them to even be compared, imo
even fallout 3 holds its own against fallout 4 in some aspects. while fallout 4 will be an obviously vastly superior game in terms of mechanics and systems, it outright strips down so much "fallout-ness" that it almost feels like an alien game comparatively. i don't think it's fair to compare fallout 4 to 3 and least of all nv.
No way in hell is it better than NV, though.
We're gonna have to wait for all DLC to be out to judge that fairly.
New Vegas had some lackluster elements that were fixed by DLC, and so did Fallout 3. It's unfair to compare Fallout 4 right now to the previous installments.
