I'm using it over vanilla because the vanilla textured-on-underwear looks completely disgusting. Don't know why Beth switched to that, they usually model it on.

I think it's dumb how a nude mod's "not nude" option is a hell of a lot less revealing than the vanilla underwear. I mean I guess that's the joke.
But like the above user said, the vanilla underwear looks really dumb, I'm not sure if Bethesda knows what a regular bra looks like.
Wow I just got into the Boston bugal's computers, there is actually some top notch writing in there
I know. That's my entire point. $60 is a completely arbitrary number that games are priced at, and the fact people want that to be cheaper could have nothing to do with their perceived quality of Fallout. I bought Fallout 4 for full price, as I do most games I'm interested in, and just like most games I'm interested in, I think it could/should be cheaper.
The fact that some people want the game to be cheaper is not an indicator that the game is "being torn a new asshole" by people with "overly pessimistic views" that are "hoping fallout 4 will be a flop". To think that and use that as an excuse to dismiss legitimate criticism is silly.
No most games that go for 60$ have to sell great otherwise it would be a substantial loss, 60$ is just what they need to sell at to be paletable, look at when EA does weid DLC pass shit or presale stuff that jumps the price, people flip shit out
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4515/?
I just googled "any mod any gun" and that was the first result.
Thank you

To be fair it outright uses meshes from the game, just unused ones.

Are you using mods or something? My bolt action rifle has 200 range
Remember when I said it's a common phenomenon to see a game get shredded on release by people who will later have much more moderate views on the same game ? You're the epitome of that.
You literally shifted from uncontrollably excited to uncontrollably disgusted within a week of the game being out.
Are you using mods or something? My bolt action rifle has 200 range
i am, a mod that attempts to give more purpose to pipe weaponry. It seems it also has a bug where pistol grips give exceedingly large range bonuses, even greater than rifle stocks.
So apparently my character can have an easier time shooting a mutant mosquito half a mile away if they use a handmade three feet long thirteen-pound smoothbore wood & copper .50 caliber pistol, as opposed to an ergonomically optimized factory-made military grade pre-war marksman's sniper rifle.

I just don't get how you feel comfortable making accusations about other peoples opinions like that. Like you're qualified to determine whether or not someones opinions are just wrong and they're just trying to be contrarian or if they're genuine.
Isn't it more likely that after a week of playing, he found himself unsatisfied with the game? Even if later on, his opinion shifts, as most do when nostaglia comes into play, does it make them any less valid at this time?
I think I'm ready to install my first mod for 4. What was the name of the one that lets you use any mod on any weapon, again?
[editline]e[/editline]
Nevermind, how did I miss this post?

I hope we get a DLC announcement with the release of the G.E.C.K.
too bad most of that 120 to 160 is padded and samey and poorly written. You can get to the meat Fallout 4's content in well under 60 hours, I know that because I did precisely that in my first run, going in blind, under 40 hours in I was scouring the internet for things to do in the game.
I beat the story and can't bear to touch the game again
So I have full levels in both explosives and heavy weapons, and just found a minigun that does +15 explosive damage. That's not counting damage bonuses from the previously mentioned perks.
This is more destructive than a fully upped multiple mirv launcher.
The biggest problem I have now is being careful of firing on the move. Companions or other close objects that get in the line of sight while I'm firing get hit, and the close proximity will insta-kill me in fully upgraded x-01 armor.
This shit is insane.

There's a perk that disables companion friendly fire, I might have to pick it up because of a weird quirk where all my guns always do sneak crits on them because they aren't hostile to me, and I do so much damage even a single crit can knock them out, but then im currently doing a sniper game so I've not really brought them along except occasionally
did you tired use body painting and pretend it is a real undewear, did you want sexy without completedly nude and your parrent behide you...well this is it
Watch out for your parrent behide you guys.
Why is this a problem when the game is rated M.
Mother fucking PARRENTS.
I'm guessing everytime Worsin makes a mod he has to have "Worsin's <mod name>" as the name otherwise we forget how much of a cunt he is?
my parrent is behind me!!!
And uhh
What makes him think most parents wouldn't find THAT questionable?
I can't wait till Nexus pulls the trick where all animals are just half naked chicks with tight clothes, now that is real wasteland for you.
I got my rig last week and got it working last night. Finally I got to play Fallout 4 for the first time today! So far I'm having a blast!

I'm level 11 and still so much to do!

Also it's kinda strange after a while to actually be able to play a game on it's highest with 60 fps without breaking a sweat.
The point is that when FO3 came out, people were very vocally opposed because it wasn't FO2-2; it was nothing like the previous game, so many diehard fans rejected it as a spinoff at first. Then NV hit and it initially got panned HARD for being a buggy and sometimes unplayable mess. Both times people eventually came around.
Now FO4 is getting the same treatment FO3 did, because it isn't NV-2. Fan reception of Bethesda's games tends to run in a consistent "I hate it, nevermind I loved it all along" loop.
Did people eventually come around though? I think you'll find it's more a case of the people who didn't like those games no longer talking about it. They got over it and moved on, while the fans remained, as is usually the case.
Personally, I disliked Fallout 3 for the exact reasons you outlined there, among many others. And I still do. And that's not going to change anytime soon.
I was also annoyed by the bugs of NV, but I'm pretty used to buggy games and it's gotten a lot better over the years with patches, both official and unofficial.
And while unrelated to Fallout, on the subject of Bethesda games in general I dislike Skyrim too, and I did right from the start. Literally an hour after starting the game I was already starting to dislike it. Mods have made it more palatable, but even then I'm not really big on the game.
People literally called the game not worth the money last page when someone asked if the game was worth it and they told him to buy it on sale - meaning it's not worth the money.
Also Rudy's been complaining about the game for weeks now so there definitely are people out there who are tearing the game a new asshole.
They said that specifically in the context of looking for a Fallout game. Being that it is a completely different sort of game than basically any previous game in the franchise, they recommended he waits for a sale in case it's not his kind of game. Because spending 60 dollars on a game you end up disliking fucking sucks.
And yes, Rudy has been complaining for ages. Because it was not the kind of game he wanted. He has never said it is an objectively bad game, only that it is a poor Fallout game.
Pretty much every time you post I become more convinced you're actually Pete Hines in disguise.

It took me about 20, personally. I'm not sure if that counts the five hours spent on loading screens, though.

What the fuck is this argument. Him going from excited before the game released to disgusted after having played it is somehow a knee-jerk reaction... simply because he went from being excited before release and disgusted after having played it?
The fuck kind of logic is that?
i don't recall todd howard ever lying about fallout 4
someone point out some if he did
i don't recall todd howard ever lying about fallout 4

The part where he was talking about settlement building and he said, "It just works."
No it doesn't just work it aggravates the fucking shit out of me sometimes.
its not that hes lying, its that he isn't saying whats gone/changed/added to the game.
as for settlement building not working for ya, i'd suggest using console commands to help ease your pain.

Considering he has rated every post I made saying the game isn't shit dumb, and he felt the need to send me a visitor message calling me "The Donald Trump of the Fallout thread", I think it's a little more than just being disappointed in the game.
i really hope someone makes a mod to return gambling, you know, gambling machines, tables with roulette and poker. i actually thought it was something to stay after new vegas reintroduced it again, even if it was in a minor way (in places like goodneigbor, and perhaps even in diamond city), but they just went full nope and threw that completely out as well.
i'm also a bit confused, what things are left that your luck stat influences apart from that perk tree? seems like lots of elements were thrown out that your luck stat influenced, like critical shots based on your luck stat (which thankfully has been returned via a mod, another example why i love modding).
Luck affects how quickly your critical hit bar fills up.
I read on Reddit that higher luck influences the scrap you can get from your scavengers. Though I would take that with a pinch of salt, it did come from Reddit.
