Found this odd little unmarked location south of the federal ration stockpile. Reminds me of my early Gmod days.
I think this is a reference to some movie I saw long ago, but I can't remember it. Something about a bunch of kids trying to build a rocket or some shit.
has anyone yet asked Trainwiz/Pastaspace if he's started working on the Fallout 4 sequel to his Pacific Rim mod? Because the new Power Armor and Mirelurks are just begging to be upscaled 100x.
Maxwell's World is gonna have a pacific rim minigame similar to that, now that I know you can fully control stuff like Liberty Prime.
As much as I value DDProductions83's mods (craftable mods), I can't help but watch his videos and think he's a bit of a dick
Yeah I can see what you mean. As bad as nexus commentators are, they really shouldn't be taken seriously. Especially to this extent.
I think Nick is the only companion who truly matters in the story. Piper is only there to get you into Diamond City and a side mission after the ending. So she can die without any real repercussions. Curie, Strong, Cait, Codsworth, MacCready, and X6-88 can almost be completely ignored. Dogmeat is important for one part of the main story. But he is a dog and a dog dying is bad. Deacon and Danse are only super important with quests in their respecting factions. Don't join their faction and they won't matter. So it's ok for them to die. They don't need workarounds because their respected faction will just become your enemy. The only worth Preston has is bossing you around. He can easily be replaced with Radio Freedom if you kill him. They could have easily written workarounds for main story companions dying. It's not like they had a lot of characters to make workarounds for.
that side mission that piper is involved can trigger before endgame if you complete political leanings or get banished from the institute
That's like Bethesda as of late in a nutshell; "Could've been better." Sucks seeing so much potential going into waste.
I can feel that Bethesda, and/or Todd himself felt their game was rushed, and sort of incomplete, but they still had to run wild with it. For sales and to meet deadlines. See their marketing, it was pretty nuts.
i think it... might be intentional? kind of? [thumb]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/77/Mama_Murphy_concept_art.png/revision/latest?cb=20160104190836[/thumb] the concept art leads me to believe at some stage she was either supposed to be grotesquely super old or some kind of weird non-ghoul mutant, and they just fucked up hugely and/or didn't make a custom face texture, so they just went with a big shitty mashed potato face
They should've kept that threaded wheelchair design
Nah the Mr Handy chair is the best.
They should've kept that threaded wheelchair design
They should let you dismantle Codsworth to make the flying chair.
The art book states that they couldn't make the wheelchair work around stairs. It also seems way too bulky. As for the Mr handy it's because it was too distracting (and probably the size too I think).
i think it... might [thumb]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/77/Mama_Murphy_concept_art.png/revision/latest?cb=20160104190836[/thumb]
Bethesda has done an excellent job of capturing the general look of the old fallout games, but i think they are still missing some of the darker stuff, fallout 4 could really have done with a few details like the concept art of murphy, or mister house's [sp]true form[/sp]- more far out creepy sci-fi stuff. [sp]The Fev labs in the institute[/sp]would have been a good opportunity for a creepy, twisted, rusty science lab, but it just looks slightly dirtier than the rest of the lab, even the [sp] fev tanks [/sp] themselves just look like lava lamps. Also I miss the Anti-material Rifle, I used energy weapons constantly for my first play-through, and now im using the 50. sniper rifle and it's just not the same, it doesn't have the same kick.

Mama Murphy in a modified Handy would have been great.

Is there a way to remove the house on the shores of Spectacle Island? It's my favorite building settlement so far, but I really want to be able to build in the area where that house was located.

Man now I'm pissed. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/78/Liberty_Prime_gantry.png/revision/latest?cb=20160105004204[/t] Why wasn't this put in the game god damn.
does she ever even go near stairs though? sanctuary doesn't have any stairs and they could easily have just programmed her to stay away from any stairs you install yourself
Well, she DOES get up on the rooftops of Sanctuary somehow, so maybe an invisible NPC only staircase? There is also the fact that when you first run into the Minutemen remnants, they are holed up on the second or third floor of the museum. A museum that clearly isn't wheelchair accessible. Granted THAT decision might have came after they scrapped her wheelchair though.
Unless you were controlling him directly, I can't imagine fighting on top of Liberty Prime being all that fun.
He goes through fucking water and I was in power armor, I decided to walk around instead of possibly drown walking with him. Would have saved me two minutes if I was on top of the dumb fucker. I got so pissed when this happened my first playthrough :v:
i'm still wondering how mr handies are still flying around i mean, unless they somehow manage to find fuel around the place, they've been flying on the same fuel reserve for over 200 years
i'm still wondering how mr handies are still flying around i mean, unless they somehow manage to find fuel around the place, they've been flying on the same fuel reserve for over 200 years
Well, Codsworth mentions how he visited Concord a couple of times. He never mentions how far he got before they started chasing and attacking him. As such, its possible he made it as far as the Super-Duper Mart, which has initially has a bunch of Mr. Handy fuel on display outside. Granted, this case only covers Codsworth, but shows that enough usable fuel is just lying around to keep the strays going. Also, typing the words Mr. Handy fuel just seems wrong..........
Supposedly they can do refueling and self-maintenance according to the wiki, finding fuel would be a bigger problem I suppose Actually a confusing contrivance is that the Mr.Handy fuel you find appears to be petroleum-based when it's supposed to be a nuclear fuel.
Does it work with the other models?
Unfortunately no, it only really works for the t-60. It could probably work on the t-45, x-01, and t-51 set if someone took the time to custom model new pauldrons to add/line up with the hooks. However the t-45 already has hook holes and it doesn't even match up. I'm glad I decided to make that 14mm pistol because there's jack-shit in the way of conventional pistols in Fallout 4, it really needs it. There's like, all of 3 conventional pistols, and it caps off at .44 magnum :glare: Not that I don't like .44 magnums but it's just such a short climax when rifles get the gauss rifle, big guns gets the gatling laser, etc.
Just checked and it does since it replaces the station's model but it doesn't fit them [editline]13th January 2016[/editline] Rip merge
Got really excited when I found a two-shot combat shotgun. 278 damage per shot. Then I saw that the accuracy is so bad, you have to be literally point blank for all the pellets to hit, even with the long barrel and suppressor.
