I'd honestly like a deagle brand deagle thrown in that shoots .50 rounds. I want to cosplay as Agent Smith
Finally, I can have Power Armored companions without the companions. His other mods are sweet too.
SO I BEAT THE MAIN STORY OF FALLOUT 4 LAST NIGHT! And man did it feel weird near the end. The moment it came to find the institute like work to find them, and when I got there, everything started to wobble when it came to Faction stuffs. Overall I felt the story really wasn't quite there, as in I didn't feel the proper structure of a first, second, or third act, not a lot of cohesion as the Climax hit. Hell at least Skyrim's main quest had a good ending, on top of a mountain at a Dragon party after you kill the big bad, it was weird when there were no credits (after I first beat the main quest in Skyrim), but I still felt the ending was there, the proper closure. No ending slides made the feeling worse as I felt no closure on the Commonwealth at all. I can overall say the description to this game was correct, this game does feel like a Beth experiment on where to go with the future of an RPG and series, there's alot I like (Voice acting, companions, gunplay and guns, power armor, crafting, main character VA.) Some things I was meh about (the dialogue wheel, the main story), and things I didn't really like (Salem was a big so what, Felt more like a shooter as I was shooting more than talking, messy faction choosings.) I still had one hell of a blast playing it though no denying that, and I'll consider it as a great game to play. But I'll hope that upcoming DLC makes the game even more interesting to play, otherwise I'll just wait on baited breath for Obsidian to work on another Fallout game using all the things I liked about this game and so forth.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8359/? Now you guys can have an excuse to wear skimpy armour
That's actually surprisingly close.
because the .44 magnum is the apex. It's the most powerful handgun in the world. cpt. you've clearly not watched Dirty Harry.
I actually have not watched that movie, buuttt I know what it's from, pop culture man. Never forget: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/.44_magnum_revolver_(Fallout_2) But wait, there's more! http://www.ballistics101.com/44_magnum.php http://www.ballistics101.com/50_ae.php http://www.ballistics101.com/500_sw.php Eh, it was fun anyway.
Man now I'm pissed. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/78/Liberty_Prime_gantry.png/revision/latest?cb=20160105004204[/t] Why wasn't this put in the game god damn.
Warhammer Space Marine had a segment where you stay on top of a giant robot and while it's cool for the first minute it gets old real fast.
I wouldn't say I was let down, I still had one hell of a blast. But now that I'm thinking about it right now, The game isn't be all end all. I love it because it's Fallout, but I would prefer having solid borders between my acts, because the third act didn't really feel like a third act. Plus I don't think I'm too into the house making, I mean I did make a house, but I gave up on it and settlements soon after because I just wanted to explore and do quest and get loot. I think I would prefer if they kept the crafting system for weapons, I fucking love that, the house making should be like Skyrim's Hearthfire where it's just making your house instead of making a whole settlement. I think there's a bit too much to put into Fallout 4, with separate armor pieces, Power Armor, Power armor pieces, crafting mats, etc. I felt overwhelmed way to easy having to keep all of those in mind in order to have the best gear. I don't think I feel bad, I got the game I wanted to get, I had fun, I got to play it on my awesome computer that played it high as possible, with the smoothest frames I've never played with before and it was great! No issues, no bugs, no crashing, etc. Just now that I've played it, I can start to see where others are coming from.
So after some time traveling with Deacon... I hate him a bit less than I did before, but I can't help but cringe whenever he lies for no reason. Mostly because I used to do that when I was younger, and it's in my personal list of things I'll probably regret forever. :s: [editline]t[/editline] The way he talks and acts, the front he tries to put up, the constant bullshitting about everything. It all hits a little too close to home. After I get his perk and finish my stealth build, I still think I'll be dismissing him and then betraying the railroad.

Is Liberty Prime's nukes a spawnable weapon like in Fallout 3? If so this is going to be a fun playthough as Liberty Prime. edit: Well I found his laser and his punching.

I want it.
As much as I love New Vegas, it looks like a full bright half-rendered piece of shit
You could mod interiors to look really nice though. my best memories of FO:NV were almost exclusive to exploring dark as fuck metros: [t]http://i.imgur.com/PyDYqRH.jpg[/t]

Alright I guess?

Why does everyone like having the worst time seeing in a game?
I used to have this mentality, I couldn't understand why everyone loved having pitch black interiors and super dark nights. Then I discovered that NVSE flashlight mod and holy shit, probably the most immersive experience I've ever had in a video game when I used it on my hardcore modded survival run. The fact that Fallout 4 already has an awesome looking flashlight (that looks even better with shadows on) just makes me even more excited for the GECK.

You can keep your 'immersion'
I like being able to see so... You can keep your 'immersion'
Light sources, mang. We don't just bumble around, bumping into the walls to navigate. We use flashlights. Plus New Vegas had night vision, but if you weren't already using a mod to add night vision to a few more helmets you were doing it wrong anyway.
Enemies can also spot you from the pitch black incredibly easily so there's that problem too.
Fallout 4's ai actually spots you depending on light levels so if you get a mod that lowers the amount of light they'll actually have a harder time seeing you, that's the only valid reason why I'm using the Darker Nights mod.
I avoid mods that make the game's nights or darker places pitch black like the plague because I like being able to SEE something
those mods aren't very appealing to most people due to that reason, its understandable, i find it extremely immersive
It's easy to make shit look good when 90% of the screen is obscured to hide all the ugly garbage.
which is why those moments where the most memorable, scenes where darkness (and claustrophobic environments) was the main focus worked surprisingly well in that game. the game looked like shit everywhere else tho :v:
Fallout NV with mods looks pretty alright honestly EDIT: Also I'mma wait for Fallout 4's inevitable GOTY edition, just not enough content in the game as far as I can see.
Alright, wasteland whisperer > intimidation [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/paZrlR.jpg[/t]
So uh.. I just received a fallout shelter mission to kill 26 death claws without a weapon.. I mean, fuck that, right? But here's the thing, the reward is a pet, and I only have 2 atm.. I want it.. I need the pet... tomorrow, tomorrow is going to be.. interesting.
Alright, wasteland whisperer > intimidation [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/paZrlR.jpg[/t]
Can you fast travel with them? I think only intimidation lets you do that, but I might be wrong.
Why does everyone like having the worst time seeing in a game?
Because no one calibrates their monitors, and thus black and dove grey are the same color.
i dont know how i was able to play without this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8378/?tab=3&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D8378%26gid%3D1151
Aww, I was hoping it would be in his arms. :(
While that may be true, being in the middle of combat seems to make it to where light doesn't matter at all, they just track you unless you have that sneak skill at the end of the tree.
Yeah that's pretty standard Bethbryo, as soon as you're caught everyone telepathically knows exactly where you are.
They kidnapped my Nuka Cola!
