Yeah that's pretty standard Bethbryo, as soon as you're caught everyone telepathically knows exactly where you are.
I appreciate the fact they took some inspiration from games like TPP and had the AI shoot at your predicted position if you killed someone from stealth and didn't get caught instantly.
I'm upset that the instigating effect seems to be broken for explosives. If you get a direct hit, it applies the impact damage and THEN the explosion, meaning you get an additional 1-3 damage at most.
:why:
[editline]t[/editline]
Same goes for double crit damage modifier, and crits in general apparently. If you hit the enemy with the explosive, the crit is applied to that and not the resulting explosion.
Since it's not possible for a crit to miss unless the enemy goes behind cover... Crits are pointless on the missile launcher and fatman, outside of being a guaranteed hit.

Aww, I was hoping it would be in his arms. :(
Now imagine every line with child/kid/baby/shaun would be replaced with unfitting totally different tone 'Nuka cola'.
I was thinking the exact same thing, I'd probably do it but I don't know how to edit voice files worth shit.

For some reason the BoS under-hood that comes with AE doesn't work under helmets, does anybody know why this might be?
For some reason the BoS under-hood that comes with AE doesn't work under helmets, does anybody know why this might be?
I think you have to use the under-hat version and not the under-helmet version
I think you have to use the under-hat version and not the under-helmet version
Nah, that doesn't work either, they both replace any other headwear
Edit: realised you have to use the specific AE helmets for it to work.

New PA and that 10mm rifle are pretty damn awesome.
Looks like one major hurdle of mods for Fallout 4 has been overcome. Tools have been released allowing the decompiling of scripts and then recompiling them. Scripted mods are now possible!

Did you disable the mod after creating your weapon? (Or do random weapons even apply to enemies anymore if the author fixed it?)
Anyway, I like your gun. Is it with explosive bolets? :(

Time to cleanse and purge.
I keep seeing these pie claw machines. Do they actually grab the pie or am I wasting my time
I keep seeing these pie claw machines. Do they actually grab the pie or am I wasting my time
Yeah you can get the pie, but its a random chance of getting it. I sat there once for about 10 minutes trying to get it.
One time it managed to grab the pie, but wouldn't give it to me :c

it ends up in the machine container, it doesn't come out by itself

I have not. I left the ESP enabled as this wasn't the "Any mod any gun" mod.
And sadly it does not, although I can turn any 10mm pistol into a rifle, so if I find an explosive variant I can always turn that into the rifle. :v:
it ends up in the machine container, it doesn't come out by itself
It never appeared in the container. Took out my frustration on the local super mutants with the fat man, which I normally never use as I don't like having to try and find the corpses to loot them.

Legendary rippers with Damage/DPS effects are always the absolute best finds. The ripper is sort of a meh weapon, but becomes awesomely lethal when paired with radiation, bleeding, etc.
The killmoves with bloody mess, too :ohno:

There's a "Legendary Crafting" mod if you want to easily add some legendary effect to your favorite guns. Kind of lore-friendly?
And what mod is that you used for creating the 10mm rifle?
Also someone talked about the 10mm pistol, but using another caliber like you can do with rifles and revolvers?

Can't wait for Space Marine power armor and ork replacements for the super mutants.
Furious is easily the best legendary effect in general. No matter what weapon you find it on (aside from the joke weapons like the walking cane, rolling pin, etc), it's going to quantifiably benefit you. Bleed and explosive are kind of shit on bolt actions compared to others, and most other effects can be niche, but increased damage per consecutive hit is always fantastic, especially in VATS, ESPECIALLY with crits.
You haven't lived until you've used a furious gatling laser.

According to the wiki the furious effect only works with melee/unarmed weapons
Furious only works with melee/unarmed weapons...
Oh, I'm talking about the legendary crafting/swapping mods. Should've been more clear. :v:
At least one lets you find most legendary effects on anything.
Furious flamer works well, too

I don't know about that. Turrets definitely track me through walls.
Now that i know how to make buildings and such i am having so much fun making huge towns.

First is the guard tower then is the farm fields, which are overlooked by a turret. Additional turrets are in the main street should enemies get past the initial defense lines.
So... Who else discovered refreshing beverage 100+ hours into their first playthrough, long past the point it would've been really helpful? :suicide:
I totally ignored every workbench except the weapon crafting one until like 80 hours in, and only JUST bothered with the cooking and chemistry stations.
[editline]t[/editline]
Guess that just goes to show how little you actually need them in practice, even on very hard difficulty.
Cooked goods might've made the early game a lot easier, but honestly with even a single rank of the perk that increases stimpak efficiency, I never ran out of them.
Hey I was wondering if I could get some help, no matter what I do I seem to get horrid fps in the 30 and 40's in Fallout 4, and before anyone goes on about my ram or something, it is JUST Fallout 4. I've tried everything, editing the INI, turning off V-sync, Shadow distance and godrays, and I still get shitty fps.
