Meh, foods should have a forced eating animation like with Skyrim's "HC" Frostfall survival mod imo!
[editline]15th January 2016[/editline]
Also is there anyone here who.....
Does not steal anything, and does not use drugs? For fun. I do sell drugs though (and some foods)
I mean, if someone was the "Savior of Wasteland" or w/e., it would be immersion breaking to do that kinda stuff. (I did however steal a single Nuka Cola for the thirsty guy at DC.)

Yes, these type of gameplay-decisions are what matters to me.
On my good characters, which are most of my character, I do. More or less.
I steal a fair bit in New Vegas though, but only for good causes since there are a lot of quests in that game where stealing is the good guy option.
And in Fallout 4 I've been using jet a bunch because bullet time. Not like getting addicted to drugs is even a threat anymore though, so it barely counts.
Thank fuck for wiring no longer costing copper, that shit was so annoying
Added status menu for settlers in your settlements
Does this mean what I think it means? We can finally tell if a settler is already assigned a job? Thank fucking jesus!

yes.
Haven't noticed much of a difference with new AO setting, the new weapon debris effects are neat though.
the HBAO+ is way better than the SSAO solution Fallout 4 has because the SSAO has this weird Borderlands 1 SSAO smearing where it takes a while for the SSAO to fully be in effect after the view has moved.
-MacReady’s Killshot perk now calculates headshot percentages properly
Game ruined.
Does this beta update break mods?

Level fourty-something and I finally found Quincy and a ripper whilst I was there. That thing is tiny.
I'm just waiting for someone to make a giant Ripper sword.
oh, good, now i won't feel bad about VATS targeting the head because Macready fell in love in me

This is all the "status menu" consists of as far as I can tell. He's assigned to the glowing mutfruit plant in the background - so you know he's assigned to something but unless you have direct line of sight to it, you still won't know specifically what other than the type of object.
Better, but not even really good.
clearly you're not getting the point here. obviously you don't stuff the op with spoilers, but just a bit more talk about the general plot of the game like in the other game's their sections without the whole "hurr durr total atomic annihilation all over again, world is destroyed welcome home bethesda ad TM"
Then type something up to be put in the OP if you're so bothered about it not having enough info.
I'm just waiting for someone to make a giant Ripper sword.
The thing feels like one of those electric knives you use to cut turkey with swear to god.
It's really really mediocre but better than nothing
the bethesda experience

Try a two-shot Ripper, it's hysterically overpowered

it shouldn't matter that you can't tell what specific thing he's assigned to, the settlers automatically "fill" in the positions to each plant that they will farm AFAICT.

Now I want to find a ripper and call it Butterball.
But... I already have a bunch of mods that fix a majority of the problems addressed in the beta update changelog... :ohno:
[editline]15th January 2016[/editline]
and please don't tell me "weapon debris" is some stupid Nvidia FLeX shit that you have to have 2 Titan's SLI'd to run properly
Can't wait for a mod that un-fixes the killshot fix.
My framerate's been getting so bad that aiming manually can sometimes be impossible in certain areas, so I've been using VATS instead.
[editline]t[/editline]
Has true fullscreen been fixed yet? If they fixed the exploits that made the game playable without fixing the issue that makes it unplayably slow in the first place, I'm going to be upset.
Every update the game gets makes windowed performance worse and worse on my end, and I have no alternative aside from saying fuck it and buying it on console instead. :saddowns:

no, it's just some debris that spawns that uses physx to run with a decent framerate.
It doesn't hurt my FPS very much. (then again I have a 970 so ehhh keep it low to med if you have a nvidia card.

That has been there from the beginning as far as I know.
I dunno, i like knowing there will always be low quality weapon/scrap/money that can be taken and sold without caring.
all I see is when i open one of those standard chests is:
[del]Gun[/del] 36 caps
[del]Meds[/del] 50 caps
[del]Scrap[/del] 12 caps
[del]Junk[/del] 5 caps
With scrapper its becomes -spring, screws, steel
There's like no reason not to dump 1 point into scrapper if you have a free level, just the screws alone means that all those 10mils and pipe guns become screws
To be honest even back in the days of Morrowind the contents of locked chests was always anecdotal and generic.
You'd typically find a bunch of throwing weapons/arrows, a potion or two and occasionally some rare alchemy materials or expensive drugs.
At least now with the new junk system you can do something else with all that shit than sell it to the nearest vendor for extra dosh.
HBAO for anybody curious to see a side by side.

Playing at 3840x1620 (downsampled screenshots to 1/4)
Loss of about 2 fps on my end, so I guess the default AO is terribly inefficient as well as not doing a very good job. May as well just lose the 2 fps and do HBAO :pudge:

which one is HBAO?
I had hoped it would be obvious, but it's the one on the left :v:
HBAO basically has a wider and more accurate range for occluded light, and you'll see that in corners where geometry meet, like the roots of grass and the triangular sections of the roofs
