Ending Spoilers: So what happens if [sp] you accept 10 year old Synth Shaun's to go with you[/sp] ?
Nobody cares and you get a quest for a laser rifle off of him. It's all pretty bland.
This mod flew under the radar but is fucking great. [thumb]http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/6191-2-1450319947.jpg[/thumb] Adds a new craft station to make craft-able hats for Dogmeat, Codsworth, Strong, and Valentine [editline]20th December 2015[/editline]
Still waiting on a mod that lets you equip super mutant armor. Or super mutants that can attach bits and pieces of power armor to themselves.
I'll never, ever understand the logic behind the barrel of that thing.
I would imagine it has something to do with magnetic field needed to sustain and propel plasma "projectiles". Can be anything though, considering that Fallout's "plasma" is the same kind of magic that is its radiation, but magnets make the most sense to me, so to speak. [editline]Edit[/editline] Seems like I have adapted quite well to Fallout universe's nonsensical science. Chris Taylor gave this explanation
SP: What was the purpose of the forward claws on the plasma rifle? CT: EM coils to help stabilize the plasma bolt on release.

Nobody cares and you get a quest for a laser rifle off of him. It's all pretty bland.
Not even Codsworth responds to him. The one robot I would expect to say something.
I hope when the CK comes out, you can get creative with the power armor mechanics and just make new vehicles like say for instance, 'Mechs.
Sweet jesus, a guided rocket launcher works wonders for eliminating super mutant suiciders from a safe distant.
Sweet jesus, a guided rocket launcher works wonders for eliminating super mutant suiciders from a safe distant.
I like the ol' spotting them with a Laser Musket/.50 cal hunting rifle and detonating it with a saved crit.
Sweet jesus, a guided rocket launcher works wonders for eliminating super mutant suiciders from a safe distant.
Or you can just shoot the arm holding the nuke. Only needs one bullet to trigger it.
Not even Codsworth responds to him. The one robot I would expect to say something.
So true. I tried really hard to jimmy my way into making a room for him themed around the kind of tinkerer mindset he has , but he's adamantly 24/7 in the rice fields without sleeping by his own admission.
But my aim is shit and I'm a strength based character. Also for some reason out of my mind my weapons on the pipboy show up as doing a massive fuckton of damage, like my modded super sledge does 1k damage instead of 100 and something, what?
I guess it's fair though. He's not really [sp]your son[/sp]. Still, the first thing I want to do when he asks something like [sp]"what happens after we die?"[/sp] is actually be able to respond out of dialogue interest instead of it falling flat as a one-sided idle chatter.
Reloading a save seems to have fixed it, I wonder what's the cause. [editline]20th December 2015[/editline] Evil merge murderer
At least the HEV suit lets you turn your head without having to rotate your entire body.
I imagine its got cameras all over the body given it is sealed, and the user just has to pan his head inside to get a view equivalent to turning his head.
The gunners usually have them at higher levels. Also, did you know there was concept art for institute armor? [t]http://i.imgur.com/xow3vLi.jpg[/t]
I wonder if that suit isn't supposed to be just power armor but some sorta pressure suit as well. There was underwater stuff planned with the harpoon gun and the cut mission 20 Leagues Under the Sea, I wonder if that suit was supposed to be for walking around underwater. Like others said it sorta looks like a Big Daddy.
I'm in the Railroad faction and I was assigned to kill a Courser at Poseidon Energy The Courser and Cutty, the raider boss, were both nonhostile I'm hopelessly confused :frown:

[editline]20th December 2015[/editline] Evil merge murderer
What the shit, it seems to be something with the milton general hospital, what a weird as shit bug. Also the robots on the hospital don't fully spawn unless you go back to reception through the hole in the floor, the hell is wrong with this place.
I'm in the Railroad faction and I was assigned to kill a Courser at Poseidon Energy The Courser and Cutty, the raider boss, were both nonhostile I'm hopelessly confused :frown:
Well you are not hostile with Institute so they ain't hostile to you, just crouch in corner and unload your guns on the head.

He still won't sleep but at least he'll still look like he's tinkering.
This is basically the MIRV with actual range. [vid]http://webm.host/c7f29/vid.webm[/vid]
Mirv was dissapointing since it removed the ability to snipe with the fatman
Just remembered about the Quad barrel so I guess you could even make it with 4 shots.
Mirv was dissapointing since it removed the ability to snipe with the fatman
I like it because it's the weapon equivalent of shouting NOPE Also it's great for clearing out raider camps if you get the high ground. Everything's dead after at most two barrages.
200 hours into fallout 4 and I haven't used the fatman once yet. [sp]200 hours in and I haven't finished the main quest once[/sp]
It's probably the most situational weapon in the Fallout series in general besides Euclid's C-Finder. The damage output combined with the scarcity of ammo tends to trigger that old RPG "I'll save it for when I really need it" impulse in most players. [editline]t[/editline] In my experience, the best way to use the fat man is against something it won't kill in one shot. Why? To use 100% of its damage potential to cut a huge chunk off its health, so other weapons will be more effective. The less time you spend fighting something, the fewer resources you'll waste, so that's where the fat man really shines. Use a single rare resource to do what would take a hundred common ones.
I just give a fatman to the companions I use the most and grab it whenever I gotta fight something huge like a behemot. [editline]20th December 2015[/editline] Also, I got a 25% damage missile launcher from some random raider, fear me raiders around the commonwealth, a deadly rocket might be delivered to you if you're not cautious!
BB gun is a joke and is jackshit, it's deals no damage and are you seriously thinking that a toy could kill anything the size of a human? Or larger?
Excuse me? Don't you dare fucking dis the BB gun on my watch:
