Fallout 4 V24: You're Tied to This Thread Kid, Your Energy

was running on a cynical streak and I found something that belonged to a certain unique settler. Immediately thought that the game wasn't going to let me do something with that.
Glad to say that it did though, and it just promotes the idea that I should explore more and look for more of these unmarked things.

That's probably the first time something I've done has been brought up in conversation. If it wasn't for how much I hate my own voice I'd feel validated :v:

Two questions: where do you get the institute style building materials? I presume it's some book you read? Where do i find that?
Second technical question. If you type 'teofis' in console in fallout 4 I get a massive performance improvement because it eliminates the bloom, coloration, and fogginess for me, I very much like this look. The problem is that 'teofis' also disables things like vats and menu.
Does anybody know how to eliminate all of the stuff that 'teofis' eliminates except for the menu and vats?
In skyrim 'teofis' would do the same thing but all of the menus were perfectly funcitonal.
mods. all of your questions are answered by mods.

For question one, it's a mod. Don't know which. Shame, because it'd actually make a bit of sense to have more high-tec stuff to build. Oh well.
What's the best mod that simply adds more "lore friendly" Power Armor paint jobs? And preferably a lot of them.
I'm looking at two of them, but the other simply has like a hundred different "Flames" skin recolors. :disgust:

Its not everything but http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2428/?
vats would be nice if it wasn't for the fact that it takes ten fucking seconds for the game to realize that I don't want to shoot the enemy in the legs and move the camera up to let me target the head
and I still don't know how I'm expected to hit a deathclaw in the belly without haphazardly waving my mouse around until it blinks
and why did they remove the shot list? I like to know the order I shoot things in, it came in handy
Emergency:
How the fuck do you actually remove ash/goo piles via the console.
Everyone just barks "use the console lol" without providing the actual codes.
And clicking on it > disable doesn't work. That actually works for nothing and i'm tired of hearing it
And clicking on it > disable doesn't work. That actually works for nothing and i'm tired of hearing it
That is the way to do it and it works for me.
Want a good show? Hack KL-E-O and incite her.
Can't you select ash/goo piles and type "markfordelete" to make the game delete it next time it purges that cell? Do that, leave the area and type "pcb" into the console to force the game to purge cells. That worked in Fallout 3 and New Vegas at least, I don't know if it still works.

Okay wtf.
Apparently there's a set of conditions that makes some permanent, and some not.
I just disable-deleted all the ones at The Slog successfully but the ones at The Castle won't. Interesting. Thanks though!
Fallout 4 has a lot of things like dust mites and haze effects that you can select instead of your intended target, which may be the issue you're having.

I believe it's called HomeMaker.
Speaking of mods, the Fatman Targeting Computer modification from Cut Weapon Mods Restoration is amazing.
Is there a way to get rid of the corpses in your settlement?
Aren't corpses automatically purged after 3 ingame days?
Is there a way to get rid of the corpses in your settlement?
You collect them all into neat small pile so everyone knows that they are welcome.

Crucify them on the road leading to your settlements.
For one of my settlements, I still see a few ghoul corpses in the same spot after a few days into the game. I tried to move them elsewhere but they just reappear in the same location.
The bridge to sanctuary on my save has had the same naked raider and dog corpses since the beginning of the game.
The bodies of the mole rats that spawn at the red rocket persisted for several in-game months.
I'm working on some fanart (a Pip-Boy model) for Fallout 4 and am having trouble taking measurements. Does anybody have a bright idea on how I could verify the scale of things? I've got the assets ripped from the game but so far I'm unable to get anything meaningful. It seems the game uses an arbitrary scale. I tried comparing the Pip-Boy Edition but it's completely off.
Can someone help me on this?

Those will be there forever considering the fact they are part of the world instead of just some mooks that were murdered there.
Man, it's so disappointing when you find a new NPC, and talk to them hoping to finally get a new sidequest, and your character tells them that they already took care of it.

View in third person, size up, make paper models and take pictures from a distance with paper model on arm. Work out what looks good p much.

I think that only happens with radiant quests?

easy solution:
open console (~)
click on the said corpse that won't disappear
type in "disable" (enable if you end up disabling something else)
when it disappears type in "markfordelete" so you don't bloat your game file with disabled stuff.
this is irrelevant to your issue, but if you have issues with all the garbage/leaves/shrubbery/debris/skeletons in your settlement, download Spring Cleaning
